What happened to small cakes? It used to be that their Cupcakes actually looked like small cakes.But now they're just the same size as everyone else's.They still come in gigantic paper containers.But the cake no longer goes up to the top.It's about halfway down from the top of the paper. What a shame this place used to be so great.

This location is really starting to fall off. On this last visit my cupcakes are hard and dried out, and a couple had a burnt taste to them. Also she used my free cupcake reward but still charged me full price and I didn’t receive a free cupcake. I probably won’t be back to this location after this time.

The customer service was great. The setup was great. The atmosphere was perfect, but when I bit into those cupcakes! No flavor at all. I tried a lemon drop and absolutely no zest of lemon on even the inside of the cupcake it was just bland. My son tried the Sunday Only the topping was worth it. These cupcakes, to say the least were beautifully made, but the flavor was horrible the moist was not there. I'm from louisiana, so maybe it's just hard to please us. With a little revamping of the cake batter, it would be perfect.

I did a DoorDash order for my husbands birthday for some cup cakes. It was first time here and I’m blown away. I love the cupcakes!!! Super light and fluffy with perfect sweetness for all the flavors. Low key, couldn’t stop eating them. Definitely a new favorite spot. Highly recommend!!!

The experience at Smallcakes in Katy was good but my only issue is that they’re using box cake and store brought icing. I was under the impression that these were made from scratch but the icing literally taste like Betty Crocker icing that’s sold in the store as well as the cake which is very disappointing.

Bad location!! Came to buy cupcakes at 7:15pm and everything on their counters was empty. No trays, cupcakes, ice cream etc. The girl behind the counter said they were sold out as she turned away 4 other people walking in.

We stopped going to this location.. I can’t stand how they use the same glove over and over.. I asked her to use a new glove & she said the owner wants them to use the same one.. that’s just too cheap.. you get a thousand gloves in a box for $10 .. if you do this what else are you cutting back on.. icing doesn’t cover the cup cake & the quality & taste just isn’t there, especially for the price.. I go to a different location, different owners & I can definitely tell! Much better selection & the cupcakes are good & I don’t mind paying the price.. do better!

She did not greet us upon entering nor thanked us for our purchase. I wanted my friend to just leave but he came here just for the red velvet ice cream. It will not happen again.
