Please DO NOT EAT HERE. I still have parasites after eating once at Sushi Hara. I ordered a sashimi bowl with pickled ginger while my husband ate at a different restaurant at the Market Eatery; he was fine but I wasn't. It's been almost a year and even with several visits with urgent care, infectious disease doctors, blood work/labs, and different medication, I am STILL infected. All the other reviews are correct when pointing out the uncleanliness of staff and handling of food. Please also avoid all of their ready made food they sell inside of H mart. I would sue if I had the money. I already reported this incident to Harris County Public Health but no action was taken. Do not eat here unless you to be sick.
Update: The owner responded to my review in such a disgusting manner and I need to correct them. Parasite risk reduction is based on freezing, not certification. Also, no lab or supplier can 100% guarantee parasite-free fish. Parasites are natural in wild fish. Do your own research before consuming lies of a greedy store owner that takes no accountability or responsibility. On that note, parasites don't necessarily have to be from the raw fish. If the staff is infected, it can be transmitted. Parasites can be transfered from the dirt under fingernails. Other reviews pointed out how you handled trash then handled food. That's a great way to introduce parasites to your food. Who's the one lying?

The level of incompetence is outstanding. I ordered Salmon Don and proceeded to wait 20 minutes only to realize they got my order wrong or havenât even started it. The guy was going to give me the wrong order.
It literally doesnât take 20 mins to cut salmon and put it on top of rice.
Going to request a refund from my Amex.

Ordered a plate of jap chay . Cashier asked if I wanted the container that was out on display I said No. I want it freshly made. She grabbed the container that she had just pointed out to me and my husband said We donât want that we want it made fresh. She said yeah fresh. We watched her put the container on the serving window, for the cook. Watched the cook open the container and while the cook was on his cell phone he proceeded to remove the vegetables from the container off of the top to reheat the jap chay. At that point we requested a refund. She then yells back to the cook. Cancel the order donât make it. We explained everything that we had just seen and the cashier said that we just made that container 20 minutes ago.!!! Reheating / tossing it in a hot pan again doesnât make something fresh again!! Especially if she asked us and we said NO, WE WANT IT FRESHLY MADE!! WHO knows how often they do that? If something doesnât sell they just reheat and output again the next day!! Not very sanitary as well as customer service sucked!!! Never coming back and will let everyone else know about this!! Which I already told a few customers that were looking at the food there and the store manager at H Mart! Yes this happened at the H Mart location on Colonial Parkway in Katy Texas! UNSAFE FOOD PRACTICE AND ALL SHE COULD SAY WAS IT WAS JUST MADE 20 MINUTES AGO!!!! FRESHLY MADE IS NOT REHEATING SOMETHING THAT WAS MADE 20 MINUTES AGO AND SITTING OUT ON THE SHELF!!! Many things were wrong, I ordered two rolls and they put them in the same plate, they are saving on plates and soy sauce maybe. Avocado was hard and sour, and the flavor bad. Sorry I wonât recommend it. :(
I so wanted to try this place. Went into Hmart after 15 min of driving around only to realize it was inside. But all good. I went in to find a world of new things to try. I bought some fruit and stuff and found sushi hara. I saw the menu as the young girl at register looked very bored that I was there. Didn't ask me anything as I looked at menu. I was narrowing it down only to see the lady in the back (older and should know better) that was preparing the food take her finger and pull something out of her teeth. Flicked it on the floor then proceeded to touch her phone and pull up something. Then without changing her gloves picked up the knife and continued to chop meat for an order. I must say I work at the hosp so my OCD is already on 100. But after seeing that I don't ever have to try this place.

The food is sooooo good. Me and my family went there to eat and got treated by a very nice and hard working young man with curly hair . The service was so good and our food came to us in just in the matter of a few minutes. Will definitely come back.

Don't eat here. Food is terrible and they made me wait 20 minutes for a salmon poke bowl. They made it wrong too, and it sat in the window while the teenager working the counter zoned out listening to his airpods. He eventually started rubbing his nose on his hand and started falling asleep at the counter while my food sat there.
A different teenager, also jaming out on his airpods, eventually saw my order after overlooking it several times and put it out for me. The rice was more dry than the Sahara Desert and the salmon had a terrible taste. I had 3 bites and had to spit the salmon out. Waste of money, terrible service, zero hygiene, and gas station sushi.
