This shop is a bit hard to see from outside, but it has an open sign up front. Inside is a cute and quaint shop which serves both bakery and savory items. The two I tried were the Honey cake and the carrot cake. Both cakes were really great! The honey cake was not too sweet and has a bready like taste to it. The carrot cake was also really good with a unique kind of (possibly buttercream) frosting. I will certainly come back again.

Came in 01/03 because I like to support small businesses and all the ready cakes had Santa toppings. I asked if they could just replace the toppings with strawberries because it was for a birthday and she said it wasn't possible because she would have to redo the icing on top. I didn't think this was too much to ask for at a cake shop. So much for supporting small businesses... I got one from H-E-B for half the price.

Really good cakes. Nice textures not too sweet and the decorations are always very good. We have bought here a couple of times. The pastries are also always fresh and I definitely trust any bakery that does half off after a certain time of the day. Would definitely recommend

Cake was ok, over priced. I called during the week to ask if they had any small cakes ready or if I could order a small one short notice. Just for 10 people, I was told it was not a problem at all for a small cake. They could make one easily later in the week. I should have gone to either HEB or Nothing Bundt Cakes because they have small cakes ready to go. NBCs has 8" starting at $29 and will go to $36 if you had a flower. I was shocked that my 8" here was $120. I was told they had to charge extra because it was a 4 day notice BUT that's why I called, if there was going to be extra charges then I wouldn't have gone. Because I wanted two flowers added, that was $27 add on and I saw a design they had with lines/presses in the fondant (see photo) that was another $30 add on. Cake itself was $58. Cake was alright, nothing special in my opinion. Definitely not worth $120. I didn't know all the add ons until after I paid. I added a cake topper to it that I bought. I could have gone to HEB and bought two roses for less than $27. If you need a small cake and you need it within a week: Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Came in an hour before closing on my birthday and got the Opera Honey Cake and the Chocolate Creme Brulee cake. They were $6 each. Overall, I wasn't terribly impressed by either, but I'm not sure if this was because we came in close to closing, and the cakes may have been sitting for a while? I liked the Opera Honey Cake the most, as the honey flavor was distinct and complemented the cake well.

I ordered two cakes one was they're specialty cake with honey which was pretty good and the other one was marble but it was super dry. Decoration of both cakes were good but that dry cake don't know what happened.

I ordered a cake through the phone, so I didn't get to enjoy the bakery. However, I will in the future because it had such a cute hangout vibe! At the last minute, I called to see if there was a honey cake for a birthday and there was on hand with fruits on top. It was pricier than what was written on the menu, but giving as to how much fruit was on top (plentiful), the inflation prices, the convenience, and the chance to experience a unique cake...it was worth it. The cake was so exquisite! It definitely tastes like honey, but not overbearing. It was fluffy, but just moist enough to make you thank the Lord. The birthday girl kept going in for more Highly recommended!

I've heard tales of this place and there delicious exotic cakes. Literally go watch cake boss and come here and order a cake no difference. I tried a slice and let's use say it tasted as good as it looked! Highly recommend them! For anyone who loves delicious and one of a kind cakes.

Just happened to see this small shop when I needed something to eat. Great sandwich and pleasant service. And the cakes - Wow! I'll be going back to get some of those for the family.

Went to Kingdom bakery today to order a cake for my birthday party. It's a small place with a nice selection of items, sweet and savory. Note that their website needs some updating as it still shows some menu items that have been discontinued. They were able to offer some small samples of typical cakes, which was very helpful for us to make a decision. We decided on the Chocolate Mousse Cake as it awesome (I love dark chocolate). While there I wanted to try their sweet Kolaches. My Czech great grandmother used to make Prune Kolaches 50 yrs ago, but the family recipe is long lost. Czech Kolaches are very different from the Kolaches you find in America today. While Kingdom didn't have prune Kolaches, they did have the Eastern European style fruit Kolaches that I was craving. I'd been looking all over trying to find these. I even went to Fredericksburg hoping the German bakeries would have some, but they don't. I ordered blueberry, raspberry, strawberry and cheese Kolaches to go. This is the closest I've seen to what grandma made. We visited on a Saturday and did not see the owners. We were helped by two young ladies who were both very knowledgeable and helpful. They helped guide us through their ordering process and make the overall experience even better.

Small bakery Don't worry about customer service ...remember small bakery. I got the chocolate cake with crème brûlée icing and it was lovely. What I particularly appreciate is that it wasn't too sweet. It was moist and delicious. 5/5!
