I hate to play the race card but I honestly felt discriminated eating here. The restaurant was full with Hispanics except me and my wife. Every table had chips except for us, so after being very patient, asked the waitress for it and she said yes. Never came out as more tables came in and got theirs. Service for us was terribly slow too where tables that came after us got their food before us. Never coming back here again. Service is pure terrible if you're not Hispanic. Smdh

If you love tacos just trust me and come here for your taco fix. La Bala is a near “taco heaven” on earth. Top notch from taste to ticket totals. I never have left unhappy . I’ve only been comfortable, satisfied and that perfect kind of full. Legit, THE BEST TACOS OF MASON ROAD AND KATY TX! Hands down. I haven’t tried much of the menu besides my go to beef tacos but I doubt it’s anything but amazing. Oh! And key point here — PRICING - it’s inexpensive, and it’s excellent in quality. Definitely a win for taco lovers and that’s especially for this current economic climate. You want 20 FABULOUS tacos and not Spend your weeks wages ? This is your spot. NOTE: I’m very picky, I’m very hard to impress and I was in the service industry a long time ; I was a GOOD GOOD server and bartender long enough that I hold a high standard for any server I deal with. You could say that I am almost to a point of passionate about it and I give La Bala Five shining stars for it. I do take it VERY SERIOUSLY and here it’s excellent. I enjoy the atmosphere , and how well I’m treated every time I go in. My family and I LOVE this place and obsess over the tacos. I guarantee you and yours will too. Enjoy! XO

honestly, this is hands-down my favorite taco spot in Katy. I have not tried that many of taqo locations in a Katy but this place is savory every single time. Me and my family I’ve been coming here since 2016 or 17 and we have not stopped. The prices don’t seem to have shifted that much either which is some thing that we greatly appreciate. I endlessly want to recommend people to this place and I have tried many different taco spots in Houston. I specifically want you to have the Barbacoa. as always, much love from the universe. Ɛ>Parking: Limited number of spaces but free parking lots all around in walking distance

Went there this morning 3/14/24Ordered 2 tacos and they all came out cold.. tortillas were warm but the barbacoa was cold ..The egg jamón I ordered to was cold no flavor on those takos. Barbacoa was good but I all my food hot. Everything from meat to tortillas. Told the waitress and they still came out cold as hell. Like screw This place.

I recommend better places to have some tacos or a lunch, the attention from the waiters or waitresses is terrible, they don't know how to pay when it comes to selling, I recommend some tacos from a gas or those from Michuacana, I think they will serve you
