We enjoyed our meal at the other location (Memorial), so I thought I should try this smaller store. Instant regret due to the mediocre experience.
The food came out sooooo slow, server said because they only had 1 sushi chef. Lights were too dim and they could not move us. Same ordering system on a tablet, but they were out of many things.
I usually like geen tea at a sushi restaurant, but they boil the water to scalding and give me a 10 cent tea bag, no refill, for $4?!
Fish was fresh and good, but rolls fell apart while still in the servers hands. Smh

Edit: after coming here for so many years, I can truly say the service and animosity of this location has gone down hill. I went with my 2 friend who have never been to Taizzi before. I truly believed they would be blown away but I was truly disappointed with the service. When I first went in it was slightly busy so I cut them some slack and didn’t want to bother. My some of my items didn’t come out for 20 mins but again, they were busy so again, I tried to not bother. Once it slowed down, I assumed the service would pick up, I ordered about 6 sushimi and watched it sit at the expo for 15 minutes while the service stand by it and talk/joke amongst eachother. After my sushi sat at the expo for more than 15 minutes, the server dropped it off to my table that’s not even 5 feet away. I then asked the server for a manager and they proceeded to JOKE with the other server about me asking for a manager as if I’m not paying for a meal with respectful service. The manager came out and he was respectful. He remade my sushi order and apologized which I can appreciate but i definitely will be taking my business to the memorial location. Which is sad because this location is not only closer to home but the location that I have been coming to since I was in highschool and I held dear to my heart. Truly disappointed.

The sushi are delicious, and the best thing is Miss Susan's attention. She is an excellent person and serves like a professional. I recommend them 100% and ask for Susan, she is sensational!
Eating at this place is fascinating and if you are served by Susan, it will be a better experience. She is really caring and special. Thank you Susan!!!

I used to love this place and would come here 2 days a week but the 2 (female) waitresses have such awful customer service. That alone kills the overall experience. I think I’ll try other all you can eat in Katy moving forward, I think I’m done with taizzi.
Sashimi is great, quality is good, ice cream is terrible, and customer service is awful. The owner Tai is kind but I just can’t get over how rude the waitresses are here.
