There are a few vegetarian items. We really liked the toasted eggplant, well seasoned and tasty. This place is also much cleaner and has better service than the locations on Bellaire and Westheimer. Docked one star for putting onions in our dishes.
Update on 01/01/2026: still ignored request for no onion.

Have been coming here for about 4 years my son loves the wonton soup with noodles and still does. I’m the one with the issue. I wanted a side of fried rice which has always been something I’m able to order a la carte in addition to my other food and today I was told “you can not order fried rice as a side” I thought it was a joke. He repeated himself 4 times and I just said ok nevermind I’ll just take the one side that comes with the meat dish. He said in order to get another side of rice I had to order another meat dish which is way to much to eat for one person. I got my food and it was steamed white rice. I asked for the correct rice “fried rice” not steamed. A different waiter came up to the table and repeated you wanted fried rice? I said yes I do. I guess they really didn’t want to give me fried rice. I told the waiter to take the steamed rice because I’m not trying to get over and get anything free which I’m sure they thought that. We left a good tip and probably won’t go back, it’s sad because this was my favorite place.

We went for dinner and ordered two dishes to share. Afterwards, there was some soup left in the container, so I asked to take it home, and I also wanted to buy an extra portion of noodles to go. At that point, a staff member named Hung said that the noodles were very expensive, costing $8, and asked if I had enough money to buy them. Oh my god, what kind of attitude is that? Especially since the bill was $43 and I gave a $20 tip!
The food is delicious, but with such poor service from the staff, I don't think this restaurant will last long.

The Walnut Shrimp was pretty good, but the Pecking Duck was terrible.

Good service, food did take a while though.
Chicken was over breaded, barely any chicken. Noodles look good, but chicken dishes, do not recommend.

My wife and I been here over two dozen times. For some reason any of their beer dishes the beef is so dry and tough to eat especially in noodle dishes.
Last night Their fried rice is mediocre. Bland and isn’t so good. Chicken is dry too.
The basil egg plant was not done well this time.
The only good dish was Kinh Do Spare ribs which they ordered incorrectly as salt and spare ribs when I ordered I said it twice slowly in Vietnamese. I’m viet Chinese. The female waiter didn’t have a good mood either. She was new. We won’t be coming back for a few months.
$60 and only $20 was worth it.

I understand that we came in a bit late, around 9:15 PM, even though the place closes at 10. However, when we were trying to check out and pack our to-go boxes around 9:45–9:50, we felt rushed. We were still trying to get our sauces and organize everything, but the staff didn’t ask if we still needed anything — they just started cleaning our table right in front of us and took things away without asking. It made us feel uncomfortable.

Overall, the food was good, but we didn’t appreciate how the staff handled customers close to closing time. We do apologize for coming in late, but unfortunately, we don’t think we’ll be returning.

Authentic chinese food, not your rag tag orange chicken joint. They don’t care about your rating. Get the special rice cake.

There is an old man who looks like a host or manager, but he is rude to us. The way he points at the table and the way he talks with a bad attitude make us feel uncomfortable. We have come here several times, and he always has that attitude toward customers.

Service is pretty bad, they don’t care. Atmosphere chaotic and definite hygiene issue with plates and utensils and overall environment. Wait time was long. Would not recommend.

A Vietnamese Chinese place with a large menu. The dishes we ordered was well done esp the seafood and tofu on hot plate. I can skip the wings. The wings had a heavy batter but it was tossed in a tasty mix of spice, vegetables and salt
