I wish Spicy House was my house!After finding myself in Katy on another mission, we pulled up to Spicy House, anticipating some good Sichuan style cuisine.The ambiance inside of Spicy House is just what I like. Not too bright. Dim lights and music mixed with the sound of people enjoying their food and company. I really like the way the restaurant is decorated. There was a comforting vibe in there. The service was great. I was greeted immediately and shown to a seat right away.After perusing the menu for a bit. I ordered the Spicy Fish Slides and Red Chili Oil Dumplings for the table. The dumplings were really delicious and seasoned very well. I'm not a huge dumpling guy but I really enjoyed these. These were probably the best dumplings I've tasted in recent memory. With that being said... I have to warn you about the Spicy Fish Slides! You may become addicted! These fish slides were so flavorful and crispy. I couldn't get enough! Forget Lay's potato chips, there is no way you can eat just one of these fish slides. I barely wanted to stop at one plate. The outside was crispy but the inside was tender and juicy. The oil/sauce on the fish and veggies is intense and incredible. The peppercorns make my lips numb and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thinking about it right now makes my mouth water and want to go get some right now.The server recommended I try the spicy shrimp next time, since I enjoyed the fish so much. I will take her up on that the next time I return. I will need a plate of fish and one of shrimp.Spicy House was a hidden gem to me but I won't keep the secret to myself. Go to Spicy House and experience the spice of life!

The chicken soup I ordered with the bones was nothing but bones! I understood when ordering I was gonna have chicken with bones, but not an oversized bowl of broth and bones!! It appears they use the scraps of the chicken for the soup! I was barely able to eat the soups without tiny bones going down my throat! They have a really good veggie roll after you squeeze out the grease.

This place is a hidden gem! Foods are fresh and delicious! They serve mainly Szechuan style but some of the typical Chinese dishes are also very good. Our waitress is awesome. It even has green tea leaves for those who like green tea, like myself. Must go restaurant!

Authentic Chinese food! Really tasty selections! My wife and I ordered a bunch of their dishes and everything tastes really good! The spicy shrimp was really delicious! Has the right amount of kick to the spice, even though I prefer it to be spiced it was perfect! Staff were very friendly when we picked up our food. Overall, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re craving some real Chinese food!

I got the pan fried pork dumplings , spicy fried chicken bites/w fried rice , Dan Dan Noodles and the cream cheese crab ragoons.The dumplings were my favorite part especially with the side of chili oil that they gave. The nice crunch matched with the soy sauce gave a really flavorful bite. I would definitely get these again.I wasn't a huge fan of the Spicy fried chicken bites. It had a lot of texture but was simply too hot for my liking.The Dan Dan noodles had little meat with it and it was 85% noodles so that was disappointing.The Ragoons were good , tasted like a more elevated version of Panda Express which is expected.Definietly a must try resturantParking: Few spaces , tight area
