Taqueria Tex-Taco

This is the best food truck in Katy. Hands down. Nobody else come close. Everything I've had from here is amazing. The breakfast tacos, specifically Randy's Tacos, and the beef fajita quesadilla are the best I've ever had. Other notable items would be the barbacoa torta and the birria burrito. And their green sauce is pure heaven. We go multiple times a week.

I’ve lived here my whole life, drove by this place forever, never stopped in until today because everybody’s shopping for the freeze that’s coming so I needed to eat before getting bum rushed in line grocery shopping. I had a chicken fajita taco and a beef fajita taco, I was told they complained so I added cilantro, onion, and lettuce. Topped it with the homemade green salsa, flour tortillas, Nice ladies at the window cute set up. The tacos were pretty good. Next time, I’ll try the breakfast that’s how I always test out my taco spots. Decent price, great menu variety and tastes nice and easy, lil your at home.

I’ve had breakfast tacos…. But these are on another level. Holy guacamole they’re perfect! Add the nopales. Green sauce will set you free. Go there! You won’t regret it

I have been coming here for about 9 years... I lived up the road until 2023 and moved to two places since, one 30 minutes away and the other 1.5 hours. When I tell you I have yet to try another breakfast taco better than there's I mean it!! Between the tacos and their green sauce they have me HOOKED ! Yall need to try them

The first time I ordered quesabirria it was $10, then they said $12 now it’s $14 all within 2 months. Even though the sign says $10. The foods good but I the people working there have terrible customer service. I recommend “TJ Birria” you’ll love it there 👍

Food is great, but the folks who work here aren’t great at customer service. Granted in today’s market, anything better than outright hostility from employees is considered good customer service; mild hostility is usually considered decent. They never answer the phone (I get it, you’re busy but then if you’re not gonna answer why have one?), they won’t roll their eyes at you but they might as well, I get the impression they know they’re super successful so if they turn off a few people it won’t matter. Again, food is great. Also, if you don’t like answering the phone why not get online orders?

First time Customer due to reviews: I would never return due to the quality of food and cost. I purchased 2 tacos, and the meat was dry. Also I purchased their pickled carrots. 98% of the carrots had black spots on them. See picture.

I love coming here for the breakfast tacos, quesadillas, and Torta! They get pretty busy so ordering ahead over the phone is a good idea

This last time I got egg and potatoes breakfast taco I noticed the eggs were a green blue color which really through me off.
