Texas Borders Bar & Grill

My family and I absolutely love Texas Borders ( All 3 locations) but especially the new Cane Island location. The food is great - always ( and affordable!) the service is fantastic and the interior is newly redone, plus the outside seating area is phenomenal!

I was working in the area and I was looking for a good burger and this place did not disappoint. They even had a deal where you get a free cheeseburger with purchase of a burger meal. Service was quick friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered wings and fries. Not from this area. But where I am from when you get sauced wings you aren’t supposed to taste the fryer oil… Service was good, beer was cheap. Food was alright at best. Wings were a good size cooked properly. The lemon pepper “sauce” is a hint of seasoning and butter. Which cannot taste through the fryer oil. Asked for more “sauce” Got charged for the extra sauce which is hilarious. Not sure how the wings win any awards like this. Being that the menu makes sure to mention they are in fact award winning. $27 for wings and fries is pretty steep for quality issues. Maybe at a buck a wing it would be a good value. A side of fries were enough to feed a family of 5, which could be looked at both ways but for yourself it’s overkill. When I do come back to the area, it probably won’t be here.

Everything was excellent!!. The seasoned french fries were amazing. We?
Ordered the mushroom burger and the catfish boy. Both were seasoned well. The catfish poboy came on a real french roll.
We've been there several times and the service has always been excellent. Our sweet teas were perfectly sweet and the waiter kept them filled. Even brought more lemon without us having to ask for it!!!

Was yummy I love this place. Only thing Is one of the cooks in the back was picking up her phone and texting with the same gloves she used to make food. I still ate my food tho it was yummy

we had the pleasure of eating at Texas borders Bar and Grill in Katy Texas and they did an outstanding job. love the food they went above and beyond to ensure the dish wanted did not have any spice for a friend who is intolerant for pepper the management got involved Sarah was amazing the cook did a great job tailoring the meal and all of the food tasted phenomenal! the waitress did a great job as well sadly I didn't get her name but she really worked hard to satisfy us and make sure that the food would be cooked correctly without the seasoning. the presentation was awesome give it a 10 out of 10

The food was excellent! The brownie was exceptional. The service was wonderful and it was nice to have a quiet atmosphere had a nice spot outside.

I went here on the recommendation of other people's experience they come here a lot. They say it's good. I found that to be true. The server recommended a dip trio with crab meat queso. That was really good. I enjoyed the burger. They use real meat here. The burger has good flavor. I like how they grill the bun too. It's a bar so you can get alcoholic beverages if you like. They also play decent music. They don't play it too loud though. I thought that was good because sometimes bar is playing music so loud that you can't have a conversation. I hear they have great crawfish here but right now it's out of season. I'll have to come back to try those. I would come here more often, but this place is like an hour away from my house.

Such a great local restaurant! They have ample seating. A park for the kids. An arcade and a private big room for parties. The food is delicious! I would definitely recommend getting the wings or burgers. They're so good. Come try them out! They have specials on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays!

Thanks to Jay Rodriguez and team at the Texas Borders Cane Island for helping to make my wife’s birthday great! We had a large group and they rocked it! Food was great and we will certainly be back! Try it if you haven’t and say hi to Jay!

Food was ok. I got the spicy chicken and sausage gumbo. I got two pieces of sausage and tiny pieces of shredded chicken for $12. Seemed like the rice had been sitting in the gumbo for hours.

Onion rings were great. Wife said shrimp tacos were good, but would prefer them in corn tortillas.

Service was great and food came out quickly. Beer was cold and kiddo liked the Mac n cheese.

Fries were delicious too.

Just kind of felt mid all around food wise, just like most restaurants these days. Nothing really stood out.
