The Rouxpour

My server was overwhelmed and should have transitioned us to another server. She called on her team mates that were not as busy to help her several times. Ir seems like she may have wanted the gratuity more than us having a good experience. Super sweet girl but too much going on. We were there way too long. No drink refills, appetizers came with dinner, took forever to get the bill, and then again to pay.

Our scallop appetizer was excellent! The sea bass served over risotto was definitely worth the trip. Our server was fantastic and added an extra dimension to a great dinner.This restaurant seems to be getting better each trip.

Our server Ken provided us with some of the best service we have received in a long time. He was very attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. He gave personal experience regarding food choice and more. Top tier service!

It's absolutely one of my favorite restaurants! Today was exceptional special to have my HUNNI and son join me for Easter brunch.

Food great, service great, value for money lacking in the cocktail department. I paid $13 last night for a glass of ice. For this reason, I didn't order any more and won't order again. You're being too greedy and losing out as a result.

Always a nice place for a dinner. The food is exceptional. Try the Tan Mignonette oysters grilled. It's off menu but wonderful if you like a little spice.

Seafood gumbo was too salty.

This is one of my favourite places at La Centerra Commercial Center. Always great food, great service and amazing hosts!
Last night were served by Shawn, who helped us throughout the evening, starting with choosing our drinks to checking out the dessert menu. Me and my friends enjoyed the water view on the open terrace and will keep this gathering in our memories forever. Thank you The Rouxpour - you never disappoint .

1 waiter for 16 people, I ordered a whiskey which they didn't have, I asked for a 2nd option, the glass was broken (chipped) on the edge it had to be changed again in the end I only had time to have a drink

We stopped here yesterday with my husband as we decided on a last minute date night. We have come here in the past but mostly go to the one in Sugar Land. My husband actually reserved the party room for my birthday a couple of years ago & we loved the food. For this location, I have come for business lunch meetings, girls Happy Hour or picked up food to go. We always get the shrimp PoBoy to go & in the past we would ask for the larger shrimp for the PoBoy. This time we asked if we could order a PoBoy & they told us it was only available during lunch. My son then wanted us to take him a PoBoy so we asked if we could order it to go. The waiter was super nice & he went to the back to ask but was told no by two managers (Kitchen & general). Apparently the only way to get a PoBoy when is not lunch time is if you order through Doordash. We spoke with Adam, the manager, and he reiterated that we couldn’t order the sandwich to go, that it was only available through the apps. We didn’t understand the difference and just left to order a PoBoy from Half Shelves down the street. It’s just so crazy to me that they would have everything to make an order but they would only prepare it if you order it through the apps… is it just me? That they would rather customers spend money elsewhere than to prepare something to make the customer happy. We didn’t ask them to go out of their way and we were already dining in. Oh well. We will not be back to this location. It seemed personal.

I HOPE THIS INCIDENT WAS NOT WHAT IT APPEARED TO BE.

We were looking forward to dining in tonight at this location as it was our first time trying out this location, but we just left a few minutes ago. We were seated immediately but we waited over 30 minutes before we decided to get up and leave. We were NEVER acknowledged nor asked if we’ve been waited on or even offered a glass of water in spite of 3 servers working the area.

Not a single person checked on us. They avoided looking in our tables direction while focusing on other tables. This avoidance seemed very intentional. We are very disappointed in the lack of service we received.

Upon leaving, I asked the Manager if they were short staffed or just busy. He replies, no, and that this has been a reoccurring issue today. So my only question at the moment was , then what could it be other than the obvious. I surely hope that is not the case. Totally disappointing and unacceptable.

And FYI. We have visited the Memorial City location before and had a great experience.They should take notes.
