The beverages were not good. The experience was good though. Caroline was a really great waitress.

Great food, drinks and service and the ambiance is nice. Pricing is UK's greatest drawback in my opinion. While the food and bar drinks are excellent, portion size combined with the neighborhood deli vibe does not quite equal the overall cost to experience ratio.
Ask for Ileana, an amazing waitress. Food A+

Brought the pups to eat today. I had meatloaf sandwich which was very tasty.
I was really impressed that they have a pup menu. I ordered the poached eggs for the pups (next time I’ll let them split it)

The Union Kitchen is hands down one of the best places for an Espresso Martini. I first tried it at the Memorial location and it was excellent, so I checked out the Katy location and was impressed with how consistent they are. Now I’ve saved all six locations in my Google Maps because it’s a reliable spot for both cocktails and food whenever I’m in the area. Special thanks to bartender Pete—he was very knowledgeable and shared the monthly specials with us. The highlight was a Whistle Pig Old Fashioned for just $7! Great drinks, great service, and definitely worth visiting.

Just wasted 15 minutes of my 1-hour lunch waiting to be acknowledged. I’ve visited this location several times before, but never during lunch—and I won’t be returning.
I walked in and no one was at the front counter the entire time I was there. I asked a the 1 server I saw in the entire restaurant if I could sit at the bar, she said yes but there was no bartender and no one ever showed up to attend to me.
I only saw two employees the whole time: one was busy with a large private party and she never even acknowledged me, and the other served nearby tables and when I requested a lunch menu, she brought a regular menu but never returned to take my order.
Terrible lunchtime service. I cannot recommend this location.

Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I ate too fast to take a picture. I had the Chicken Biscuit. Would definitely order it again. My son had the Shrimp and Grits and said they were really good.

I love this upscale restaurant right in my neighborhood!! My new favorite on the menu is the old style burger bowl!! Everything you love: Queso, patty, salad, onion rings, fries!! For whatever reason they’ve created a new burger bowl—it’s really odd! But the old style is one of the best entrees I’ve eaten anywhere….& all the waiters & waitresses agree with me!!

Kinda weird that at 6pm on a Saturday it was empty especially seeing so many raving reviews. However I was expecting a name like union to be a working or middle class friendly diner but instead it’s nearly a pretentious fine dining restaurant with large wine glasses. Anyways I walked in and after 5 minutes (empty restaurant, 1-2 folks indoors) no one even greeted me or offered me a water so I got up and left…
