The wife and I were going back home to San Antonio from the Renaissance Festival and looked for something in the area that was not a chain. We were at that worthless monstrosity Bucees when we looked and found TMG near by and decided to try it. We were not disappointed!! The food was excellent and the portions were huge! Not many places have Frito Pie and I love Frito Pie! So I got that as well as a hamburger and it was excellent!!!! The fries were very good as well!!!! Great Find!!!

We were visiting from Louisiana and took a chance on it. Everything was amazing! The burgers were huge, the size of my head! And the fried Oreos were so good. 10/10 delicious and great quality meat

Started coming here recently as Snappyâs isnât the same as it used to be. Came in looking for a small bite for breakfast and ended up getting one of their breakfast plates. I couldnât decided between breakfast tacos somewhere else or something new so they were kind enough to throw in two tortillas on my plate! It was slow when I went and the other restaurant was packed- I didnât have to wait, the food was hot and fresh and had actual flavor to it. Service was on point and I really like that they paid attention to the whole, âI want tacosâ thing, lol. Overall, great experience!

Now of days, for the same price you spend at a fast food restaurant, you might as well spend that amount on great delicious quality burger. This place had everything when it came to a hearty burger, and it did not disappoint. The service was fantastic, and not only did they bring your food but continued to check on you. I definitely will revisit when I come back into town.

TMG Burger â A Well-Deserved Second Chance
TMG Burger, formerly known as Willy Burger, is a diner-style restaurant that specializes in burgers and other sandwiches. But itâs not just their burgers that make your mouth waterâtheir fresh hand-cut fries and world-famous onion rings are definitely worth mentioning. Iâve been going to TMG Burger for years, back when they still went by their more well-known name. Recently, I decided to go back with my grandfather to see if it was still the place I loved and remembered or if they had fallen off and were no longer the best burger spot in town.
When we walked in, I was surprised to see that the layout was exactly the same. The only major change seemed to be the color scheme. One thing I was glad to see was Mike behind the counterâI'd be hard-pressed to imagine TMG Burger without him! The menu was surprisingly the same, though there were a few new items, such as tacos and breakfast options. I havenât tried them yet, so I canât comment on whether they were worth adding to the menu.
The employee at the front counter had the same friendly and respectful demeanor I remembered. I ordered my all-time favorite, the California Girls burger, and some queso fries. I was a bit disappointed to see the prices had gone up, but thatâs not surprising given the inflation all restaurants are dealing with these days. As I took a closer look, I noticed they had upgraded their menu screens to digitalâan improvement over the old glass wall and paper menus.
We got our food rather quickly, and it tasted exactly as it did years ago. The only change was the queso used on the fries, but it was still delicious. The food was hot and flavorful, with a perfect balance of chicken and condiments. The fries were crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, and paired perfectly with the creamy white queso. The atmosphere was comforting, and I felt right at home.
I definitely recommend getting a burger because I guarantee you wonât find a more flavorful and juicy patty anywhere in Katy! Overall, Iâm glad the place where I spent much of my high school years hasnât changed much in terms of culture or flavor. If youâre looking for an amazing burger spot, you canât go wrong with TMG Burger.

You know, the one with a burger that actually tastes like a burger and not some processed patty on some goofy bread because theyâre trying to reinvent the wheel? Yep, this is the correct way to make an all American hamburger. Just look at the picture. The patty has that irregular hand formed shape and other hamburger places take note: the cheese is melted! Fries are crispy too! Omg Iâm in heaven and I donât want to leave when I go here. Keep up the great work guys! This is the type of place Katy needed!
