Came in today at 11 and the customer service was awful. Stood at the register waiting to order for over 5 minutes with three employees present. When i asked is someone taking orders the worker Alondra said she was making food and proceeded to walk back to where she came from. After waiting more with two employees in my presence (a black girl and black boy, would use their names but they refused to give me that information) my order was taken my Alondra (at least that what my cups says).I then watched my order be made and poured into the cup then set down by the black guy employee as then proceed to attempt to make other orders until i asked him to hand me my order since I had been waiting for so long to even order. Do you know he still continued to do as he was doing then hand me my cup… the audacity which he probably thought he was being funny doing that.So with me being displeased with my service I called in to speak to the manager which isn’t present so I asked when will they be in and to have the names of employees on shift at that time to speak on my experience with the manager later. Do you know Alondra questioned why I wanted their names, and refused to give them to me then proceed to hang up on me while I was still talking…. What an awful experience for a paying customer.

I always love tropical smoothie. However I went around 12:30pm I noticed 2 cars in the drive thru, and I walked in for my smoothie. The girl was friendly, I noticed she keep walking back and forth to the drive thru window as well. I waited for over 10 minutes. which i did not mind. I noticed she’s the only one working. She gave me my smoothie said I’m sorry for the wait, I’m the only one working. She did her part she’s great. This is a management issue having one person working the entire place with walk ins and drive thru

Good smoothies but really sloooooow service. Note to self, preorder my smoothies before coming here. Idk how long it's been, but I've heard two songs play on FM 90.1 blues hour I think. Good tunes that FM90.1. Anyway. The smoothies are good

My 12 year old and I just came from the Tropical Smoothie Cafe on the Katy Fwy and I’ve never experienced such awful, unfriendly service. They took over 40 minute to prepare the food. And when they finally got to it the girl working there just handed it over to my son with a “here you go” not even an apology. When my son asked if it was ready she all but scolded us for asking and said they were REALLY busy and there were other orders in front of us. Meanwhile people in the drive thru were getting their food and going!We love tropical smoothie cafe food but this is absolutely out of order. The 2 girls there were rude, condescending and it was a horrible experience. Service was really bad for sure

My experience in this tropical smoothie was very pleasant. The staff were very generous and funny making jokes. I ordered the peanut butter cup which was delicious and a nice sweet treat. The interior design was very presentable and had a nice cute touch to it. The atmosphere was nice and everything was spotless. Would come again!
I love tropical smoothie so much this is so close to my house i’m so glad !! i tried the bahama mama with whey protein and it was delicious will definitely be returning.
