“We had a wonderful meal at Margarita Bistró in Katy! The cazon empanada was packed with flavor, and the shredded beef with cheese was perfectly seasoned and comforting. The seafood dishes were fresh and well-prepared, and the sweet plantain with cheese was the perfect mix of savory and sweet. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely a great spot for Venezuelan cuisine. Just a bit of room for improvement, but overall a solid 4 stars!“

“So happy to have found and tried this restaurant! Fair warning, other the prices for item beat other Venezuelan restaurants, it's still priced as a luxury. Think Starbucks pastries. Tried the shredded chicken and shredded beef arapa's. They come with delicious white cheese! But also with mayo and ketchup normally. Unless you love ketchup and/or mayo, recommend ordering that on the side for your first time. I grew up eating them without Mayo, or ketchup. Finally, try the cassava/yucha and cheese pastry, and the potato and cheese empanada. Both were delicious, crispy, and the empanada was flaky. Came with a pinkish hot sauce and a white sauce reminiscent of ranch but not as fancy. All was delicious. Hope to come back and try the pizza pastries, and the sweet plantain pastries. Forgot to ask if any of this was fried, so come on a cheat day, and if you're in the mood or Venezuelan, or to try something new if you're not familiar. Passion fruit/parchita juice available! Sweet, tart, and refreshing. Like a mango limeade but better. I mix it with water though to smooth it out.“

“Visiting from Orlando, we ordered the chicken tenders! it was the best fried chicken, comes with waffle french fries, the most amazing tinny fried arepitas, and a Cobb salad…. I was eating pollos arturos (salad included) with arepitas de tropi burger …. POLLO DE ARTUROS! we had a moment… #IYKYK…“

“This is one of Katy's hidden gems. A delicious Venezuelan restaurant in the corner of a gas station makes my favorite arepa. The staff is always friendly and knows my order. The arepa is stuffed with cheese that has an amazing pull and savory beef. If you're filling up for gas and not filling up for lunch, you're missing out.“
