I wish there was an option to review without assigning a star, because I don't wish to drag the rating down. This is the rating for one new person at the establishment not the establishment itself. I don't come here often but I do like the place.
Today's August 24th Sunday was disappointing. The donut I ordered was fine as usual......but there was a advertised promotional sticker I noticed in the drivethru window on the way out about it being a BOGO day and the girl I'd never seen before who took the order didn't offer a free donut. I didn't make an issue of it because I was already on the way out and need to cut down on volume of sweets anyway but still......If my donut $4.50 was too expensive to get one free shouldn't I be offered a free glazed or something?
She also said the coffee wasn't brewed yet which seems odd for 7:35 in the morning and no crowd.

We went to VooDoo Doughnuts for the first time, thinking it was a cute little place. When we asked if the doughnuts were fresh, the cashier said they were made today. I would give a zero star rating if I could. They were stale and awful! People, please don’t stay open if your product is OLD…just sayin’…we got 7 doughnuts for $20! Only one of them was good enough to eat. We will NEVER go back…ever!

Fantastic variety of vegan donuts. Great customer service and a good clean place.
We don’t eat eggs hence my daughters always crave for donuts since these generally have eggs. This place has so many vegan options that it’s shocking we didn’t see this place earlier.
Customer service is awesome. The lady at the counter was very patient and helped us choose the right donuts and also went out of the way to make a custom donut for my wife.
This place is PHENOMENAL. Just the raised glazed is all I need here to be happy. It is so fresh, fluffy, and sweet.. it is so tasty!

Shrinkflation anyone? Last fall our daughter brought home apple fritters from Voodoo Doughnuts. They were expensive, but they were enormous. We went there ourselves and ordered 2 apple fritters for $9.30 (@ $4.65 each). They have shrunk by least half the size of what they had been last year. Compare the Shipley's apple fritter (@only $2.69) to the two Voodoo apple fritters (at over 3 times the price). What you can't see in the photo is that the Shipley's apple fritter is also substantially thicker. If you want a very good apple fritter at a very reasonable price I'd try the Shipley's on South Firethorne.

if you need a vegan doughnut look no further than voodoo doughnut (a true gem) ✨ they make theirs in-house (shoutout to morgan) and have a great variety of vegan (and non-vegan) selections. my favorites so far have been the classic vegan glazed and the vegan chocolate ring. they also get bonus points for their drive-through and late night hours 8/5 starts 🌟
p.s. if i could make a suggestion a vegan powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar would go so hard!
