Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar

Was very nice, I went to celebrate my lunch birthday with family.. we joy our time there, the food drinks and dessert were good... and our waiter was very nice

When I'm looking for great food, atmosphere, service and vibes Whiskey Cake fits the bill! I had the Fish and Chips. My fish was bigger than the plate and cooked to a crispy perfection. The fries has just the right amount of crunch. The whiskey cake dessert with carmel sauce, whipped cream, and candied pecans was a great end to a perfect meal. I highly recommend Whiskey Cake for your next meal out.

Most of everything was great from getting greeted to the food but waitress didn’t seem like she wanted us in her area. Two tables were seated after us and asked if they had ever been there before and if they wanted appetizers she was extremely nice to them helping with what kind of appetizers they can try. She barely wanted to come to the table to give us anything. Food was ordered she didn’t bring it to us seems like the manager did but I can careless about that but “forget” our food not nice. Now the next thing I am doing and yes I’m pulling this card out I’m Mexican but I don’t care I guess that’s why she didn’t want to have to be our waitress. I hope she sees this or gets told about it but that was not great service on your end. I will go back to this restaurant but if I EVER get seated in this person section I will request a different table or a different waitress. If the manager of this location or any management sees this yes please contact me.

Our appetizers were very good, but four of the burgers of we ordered were very burnt. The waitress was hardly around for us to ask for a new order. Additionally, we came to celebrate two birthdays and I was under the impression we could at least get some free dessert but they don't do that here. Disappointed in our trip.

We started off with the Bloody Mary deviled eggs which were quite tasty and savory with a hint of peppery spice. We also go the French onion deviled eggs which were quite good. They also have a new juice flight for 2026. The pink drink is slightly tart, sweet, and light on the tongue. The ruby slippers is basil forward with a nice sweetness that sets in, not offensive to the pallet but not overly strong. The Jessica Wabbit is sweet but not bad a middle ground of flavor. The hulk is cucumber forward but in a hint of flavor with a perhaps pineapple aftertaste with sweetness.

I am unsure about my “pork chop”. Look at the photos. It was so salty and looks like processed meat. There was a bone attached to it. Something very strange about it. Strong smokey flavor to it but not the savory taste of pork chop meat. It’s definitely NOT worth $28. I ended up taking half of it home but, only to examine it more closely in good lighting. 😂 it was thrown in the trash where it belongs. My family said their food (burger and chicken sandwich) was good but, not enough to make them want to go back and eat there again. Two positives: The crab cake appetizer was delicious and we had excellent service from Thaddeus who gave my husband a free beer because they were out of brussel sprouts and fish n chips-we wanted both. Overall, meh and overpriced.

God via the Holy Spirit led me here for the first time this afternoon, and I was completely blown away by this place. The restaurant decor, cleanliness and extremely friendly staff were unbelievable, but the super fresh and tasty food had me questioning why other establishments don't operate like this in a similar manner.

Big shout out to Chris, my server, and Taylor, the manager, for providing exceptional, unparalleled service and delightful conversations. Both these individuals are GOOD PEOPLE.

If you haven't been to Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar yet, then I highly recommend that you stop by for lunch or dinner... you won't be disappointed!

One of Katy’s best.

I Was traveling and I stopped here to get something to eat. I should’ve made a better choice. I.ordered the fish and chips. The fish had no seasoning, anybody can take fish out of a bag and throw it in hot grease and that’s exactly how it was served. the overcooked chips/fries were placed under fish and the customer didn’t see it until later. The ones on the top were crispy. After paying $23 for fish and chips it was overpriced for the value. Maybe $12-15. Not worth $23. The cake at $12 is well worth the price. If I ever stop to this place again, it would only be for the cake. Definitely not for the food. Please make your choices wisely.

Got the chicken and waffles which were fire. Super crispy chicken, fluffy waffles, loved the fried egg, and the side of gravy was excellent. The mac and cheese was pretty tasty. Also split a burger which I thought was just fine.

Had to get dessert and there was one clear choice: the Whiskey Cake. I mean if you go to Whiskey Cake and you don’t get the Whiskey Cake did you even go to Whiskey Cake?? This ish is MADNESS. So insanely good its rich and fluffy but dense and creamy and smokey and nutty and just such a beautiful creation wow.
