I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food tasted old and lacked any flavor. The Lo Mein was drenched in grease and completely tasteless, while the fried rice was dry and so hard it was difficult to chew. My partner ordered the duck, and it tasted sour and spoiled, as if it was expired. Shortly after eating, we both felt sick, with uncomfortable stomach pains that lasted for hours. I even ended up throwing up the food later in the night. The only positive aspect of our visit was the service — the staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make up for the poor quality of the food. I wouldn’t recommend dining here unless significant improvements are made to the kitchen.

The waitress was nice. The table was sticky. Sat my the windows that was very dirty all of it. Made me wonder what the kitchen looked liked. I tried to ramen and it was my 2nd time trying it. First time in Katy Asian town so I thought it would’ve been better but it was a waste of money. I didn’t even finish it.

Ordered the chicken ramen, Las Vegas roll, chicken egg rolls. Chicken egg rolls was the best of the three. Chicken ramen was bland and lacked flavor, smelled fishy, and I’ve never seen ramen have chunks of tomato in it like this one did. Very disappointing. The Las Vegas Roll was also a disappointment since the texture of the salmon was rubbery and chewy.
Service wise, very attentive and polite. Personally not a spot I would return to or recommend. 2 stars for the great service

I took my teen and her friend here for her birthday. It was our first time here. For a Saturday night, it was surprisingly calm. My daughter and her friend both got a bento box. With in a min, my daughter's friend pulled somthing out her mouth and there was a hair in her fried rice. I looked for our waitress but did not see her for quite some time. We had to flag someone else down to let them know. The rest of the food seemed to be alright. But for as slow as it was, I could never find my server when I needed her. We took leftovers home. The next day my daughter took her sushi roll and rice to lunch. She text me and told me there was a hair in her sushi roll. Do cooks not wear nets?! 2 completely different entrees and both had hair IN them. Not on top but IN it. Rolled in with everything else. It was a shame because I thought it was good but will Not be going back.

The family ventured to Zake in Asiatown Katy, eager to indulge in my Beef Gyudon craving. While the main dish was pretty much standard, the experience wasn't entirely disappointing. The crispy Tonkatsu offered a satisfying crunch, but their seafood selections were great! The fried calamari was tender and flavorful, the Makimono Roll was fresh and well-balanced, and the Tuna sushi melted in our mouths. The attentive service staff further enhanced our dining experience, leaving us with a bittersweet memory of a meal that was almost perfect.

Food was great! Service was meh she didn’t really ever come to check on us. She kinda seemed like we were bothering her. Price is pretty up there but it’s nice for an occasional thing. It says they close at 11pm but they were trying to push us out around 10pm. I personally wouldn’t come back cause it’s not close to my house but it’s okay for a one stop thing.

On a company trip to Houston from Denver we decided to try Zake and they did not disappoint! Michelle was absolutely amazing with her level of care and attentiveness. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun as well as comfortable. Our entire group had the best time!!! Thank you for the great service Miss Michelle❤️

Great sushi ?, but tons of other options on the menu! We had sushi, ramen, lo mein, z stack& seaweed salad. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Excellent option for late night dining. They have karaoke ? on the weekends so it was something fun to enjoy with our dinner. Service was excellent too!!
Amazing Japanese food. We had the tempura shrimp sushi roll, Dragon sushi roll, fried rice with ajitama and Thai chili wings. Everything tasted great! Leon provided exceptional service. Located in Asian Town Katy.
