No wait so we decided to try it out for lunch
Food isnt the worst, but the restaurant is filled with dust, they have a lot of shelves but look like they never dust/clean it even
They also have what seem like a serving robot that is also not being utilized (which would be cool!)
To summarize, it seems as if they gave up on the effort and is just hanging on..

Amazing Sushi & Ramen place in Katy's Asia Town. Food is FANTASTIC and service is AWESOME!!! My favorite Asian food place in Katy, TX.
Ambience is great and we love the appetizers and entree options. The bento box options are my favorite.
I highly recommend Zake for your whole family and for your date nights.

For years, we have come to this restaurant to eat basically the same dishes. Unfortunately, they have changed the recipe twice, taking out some ingredients that were actually making the flavor unique. But the prices have come up disproportionately.
I’d say the owners are not the same either because the service and the cleanliness has also diminished.

I ate here a few days back, the food was so so but they only had one person waiting on the entire lunch crowd and the service was exceptionally slow. The main reason for the one star review was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The bathrooms were very dirty and the worst part of it were the roaches. There were roaches in our booth and even crawled on our table and on my leg at one point. I’m not one to immediately freak out if something isn’t perfect but it put off my appetite imagining what the kitchen must be like. I mentioned this to the server and asked if there was some management I could speak with. I received a very nonchalant reply of “ok, sorry” and that was it. It gave me the impression that they didn’t care or that this had been an issue going on for a long time. I would suggest avoiding this place.

Foods pretty decent. The service needs work. Waitress could not answer what the most popular sushi rolls was, could not answer the flavor of smoothies they had, had a hard time setting the food on the table (we only ordered 2 rolls), we had to help the waitress set the food, and the food took a long time to get out. There was only 1 other table that was eating.

The tempura was too oily. The ramen was okay.

While it's good ramen compared to other places around Houston that have ramen on their menu as an after thought; it fell short of my expectations as a restraurant that has Ramen as a focal point.
I will applaud them for having the essentials for an authentic ramen experience with all the toppings and different broths. Compared to some that throw ramen noodles in the miso and whatever else is on the menu and call it done. However, that's about where my praise ends.
I am disappointed by the lack of a tonkotsu udon with ajitama on the menu. I am disappointed by the topping parings where they will put little thought into it. seaweed and fish cakes in a ramen that will totally clash with the rest of the flavors. Such as of a tonkotsu, but that's me.
I noticed that both the black garlic and the tonkotsu ramen had virtually the same price and ingredients and it became obvious why, once it came out and I tasted it. They seemed to try and pass off the tonkotsu as the black garlic. Knowing what it should look and taste like, I had to ask for more black garlic oil only to be more disappointed by the lack of black in their black garlic oil (very little black garlic in their oil) and only a splash more at that.
The service was spotty. At first they were hovering waiting for our order as if we were going to bolt after only getting water. They refilled our glasses once our food came out but that's about all. They had to be flagged down for the black garlic and the check. But then had the gall to have 20% tip auto selected and 18%, custom tip, or no tip as the other options.
Overall, it's better than some but the service and the feeling of being slighted soured the experience.

I love the atmosphere but the food itself is bland.... Lacks flavor for the Zaki Special, shrimp in it still had a watery flavor
Don't waste your time and get better quality food around here

Had a great experience! The food was amazing, especially the takoyaki. The best part was honestly the service. The server Ruffa was very attentive and had a bubbly personality that rubbed off. I highly recommend this place.

Unpleasant experience. Ginger was rotten, no seasoning used in cooked foods. Ordered Calamari, 3 sushi’s, steak noodles and nothing was good.
Just try another restaurant close by.
