The fries were burned, yet soggy and dripping in grease. The brisket in my sandwich was half pure fat and to add a ribbon to my meal, the cook brushed the top of the bun with grease. Pretty disgusting. This cook obviously does not know what he is doing.

It wasn't like it used to be. The food was simply not good. I got the country fried steak and gravy. Everything tasted frozen or fake. Down to the mashed potatoes and the gravy was just... Not right. It looks like, I won't say and did not have any flavor. My finances brisket sandwich was good but he would have preferred it came sliced. Because it had a lot of fat. I don't think their fryer ventilation was working because I smelled like fry grease for my entire 3hr road trip to see family. Not the kind of lasting impression one desires. The service was excellent. They were kind and fast. However, the entire experience was topped off with a dead cardinal in front of the store when we left. We drive through the area often enough, but will likely not return to this location. Perhaps, not any location.

There were bugs in the pickles, 2 hairs on my daughters ribs, the coleslaw was bitter and had almost no sauce, the food tasted old and it was really dirty and nasty. The people were nice enough but the food quality and cleanliness were aweful. Not worth the $55+ we paid for lunch at all

Overcooked baked potato with spoiled sour cream, brisket that tasted boiled, and BBQ sauce that tasted only of liquid smoke. Avoid this location, as well as all their other locations; their quality is non-existent and you will be wasting your money.

Edit to add: potato and meat were both old; threw them out and the stray dog refused it.

I say this I pay $13 for a meal I get a chopped beef sandwich with two sides I get home its sliced with more then half fat & forget one of the two sides and the beans are hard. OK so the other meal we was asked what all would u like on your salad cheese onions? I said everything but cucumber. I get home its lettuce and cheese. I don't understand how this happened when there's literally people at one table and we are the only other ones there. Oh wait y'all talking to each other, having ear buds in the ear and taking a call no wonder pay attention to the customers then take care of everything else. Do a better job... And if I may recommend smokin wheels Rosser,tx

Disappointed with my overall experience in Texas. This is my second visit in just over a month, and once again, the restaurant fell short. After spending $80 on UberEats, I expected them to at least follow the order instructions. I specifically requested half tea/half lemonade since an Arnold Palmer wasn’t an option, but I received only sweet tea. I also ordered potato casserole and was instead given mashed potatoes.

The ribs were the one highlight—those were actually quite good. Hopefully, their Albuquerque location delivers a better experience. Based on this, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from them via UberEats.

Terrible service. I mean, the food is decent for a chain restaurant but never expect that you’ll get your “curbside” without having to go in. Both times I ordered curbside, the first time i waited about 20 minutes, finally went in. This time I knew better so I only gave 5. Sure enough they didn’t even know they had an order (which was placed 30 minutes before). And there were no customers at all so being busy wasn’t all the problem.

This particular Bbq restaurant is Very Special. The sliced brisket was So FLAVORFUL and Super Tender!! I was so Surprised.
I also had coleslaw and green beans which were very very good also. As I was finishing my meal ; a man in a booth asked me how Iliked it. I told him how good it was and he said he was glad to hear it because he smoked the meat hom self. I told him how surprised I was with how flavorful and tender it was, especially being a chain restaurant. He told me All of the different steps he takes to get It that way...One of his steps Is very time-consuming,expensive and very unique. I travel a lot and have eaten at The best barbecue restaurants in the southern states.
My favorite being Franklin's bbq in Austin, and used to be my 2nd Hoodoes in Dalehart tx... this Particular Dickies bbq in Kaufman is almost tied for First. The man I spoke with who put so much love into his barbecue ended up being the owner of this franchise, Every time I come through here I will always get at least one meal from him even if I have already ate.
P.S : the owneralso gave me some homemade Ambrosia to try I took it with me andput it my cooler. 2 days later remembered it- IT WAS SO GOOD- U GUYS NEED TO TRY IT!

Absolutely love the new loaded mashed potatoes! Just like granny makes chunks and all. Must try with the gravy. It’s the best.
