The food is absolutely incredible — rich, authentic flavor in every bite — and you can genuinely tell it’s made with love. On top of that, the customer service is unmatched. They make you feel welcome, valued, and taken care of every single time. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate — not a huge crowded space — which makes it perfect for a relaxed meal or even a romantic outing. It’s become a special place for my wife and me, and we always look forward to coming back. We love this place so much that I plan to use them for catering at future events for my business. I truly can’t say enough good things about Carrera’s. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out!”

“As always salsa first - very flavorful. But could be hotter & less chunky. Food came out fast and hot. Great stuff - high side Tex Mex. My ranch water from the bar was perfect mix. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and clean. No tvs! Waitress was very friendly & attentive! Highly recommend.”

“Worth the drive from Dallas! Shannon took care of all our needs. She was able to help my girls and I with what to order with dietary restrictions. I am glad we had this on our Spring Break to do’s. The chicken fried steak was crispy and delicious. Everyone enjoyed dinner, and my girls had a spoon war over the brownie sundae.”

“This is a small building off the main road. I have been here almost 4 years and today was the first time I’ve been there. The food was amazing. This is food I grew up on. The kind you’d get at grandma’s house for Sunday lunch. It has been YEARS that I DID NOT have to add and salt, pepper or put hot sauce etc just so it would have a taste. It was seasoned to perfection.
I WILL be a REPEAT customer.
And all I got were SIDES ! It is VERY obvious it is homemade”

“Schlotzsky’s is a decent sandwich shop with a fairly limited menu. The food is decent corporate faire with few surprises. Nothing to cross town for, but a better choice than a fast food hamburger.”

“This place is very clean and tidy. The staff is very nice and professional. I found the style of mexican food is not quite traditional tex-mex. The chicken taco is super delicious. I wasn't prepared for the way they prepare a tostada. No beans, lettuce, tomato on a big chip. Theirs is guacamole on a big chip. The Mgr came over and very nicely and professionally spoke with me. She understood what I was saying and adjusted my bill accordingly. Thank you, Ma'am.
The house margaritas are superb!!!
I will come back and be a little more questioning on the menu items, now that I know yall are a little different from what Im used to.
