Honestly, this place can't be beat. Coffee, desserts & meals are amazing here. They are my go to if I want to order a whole cheesecake or any kind of dessert for a party. I crave their grilled cheese & tomato soup, I could eat it every day if my wallet allowed. I was a loyal patron of the Forney location when I lived in Forney & now I'm just 10 min from this one in Kaufman. The only thing that makes this location a little better is that it has much more seating available.

I ordered a cake for babygirls 1st Birthday. Didn't know it was going to have boba straws/dowels. I think it should have a warning. Those can be dangerous. The cake looked beautiful but It seems like it was jammed and stufffed with buttercream and cake was undercooked.

The vibes are everything! The place is so cute and the pastries are just as amazing as how they look! My boyfriend and I got a couple options and honestly 10 out of 10! If you’re ever drive through or by or around the area please do yourself the favor and stop by ! You won’t regret it. The ladies who helped us were so sweet! Hopefully they open a stop near Fort Worth lol loved every bite !

Such a sweet staff! This is my 2nd time here and I’m blown away with how sweet the staff are. Valhika (I might have misspelled her name) was so sweet! She knew the items on the menu! She recommended what to try and oh man was she right! This is the best place to eat and be in a calm environment! Manager is also super sweet and helpful! She took my order last time. If I could give more stars I would! I will be telling everyone I can to come here!! It’s also very clean!!

Every time we order delivery from this location we have food missing. Haven’t ordered from them in months and decided to give them another try. Yet again, missing food. Over $20 worth! Called them and the customer service was not helpful!

I have copy and pasted my review from the Canton store since there is now a Google location for the store in Kaufman. My review is in regards to Kaufman Latham.
The food was good but they need to hire more cashiers/staff or schedule their staff better.
My mom and I went around 12 and there was only one lady there to take orders. I think she got overwhelmed with how many came in for lunch and messed up our order badly - wrong drink for my mom, I didn't get mine till we were almost done eating and even then she used whole milk instead of oatmilk like I asked, I asked for my panini to have sourdough and it was served with tortilla bread instead.
While we were sitting waiting, we saw some other people behind us going up and having to get things fixed as well.
I just want to clarify, the food was good. Just the service wasn't what I was expecting. ++ Adding on top to recent visits, my father and I came and the lady who took our order made assumptions without asking us for clarification. We asked for Dr.Pepper and she gave us diet, she didn't ask if we were to-go when we wanted to dine in and so our food came in a bag. We asked for pastries and we had to remind her to get them for us.
Again food was good, just service was meh.
Most recent visit (10/4/25) is the kind of service I expect, a different lady from the one before took our order, asked clarifying questions and food was as requested, and asked if we were dine in. I hope to have her next time I come with my parents.

Latham Bakery is one of my absolute favorites! They have been making our cakes for birthdays for a couple of years now and they are always perfect. Their cookies and brownies are absolutely delicious too and definitely a family favorite.
What I love is that they do not just make sweets, they also have plenty of healthy options. I tried the “Choose 2” box recently and it was amazing, so fresh and flavorful. Even my kids enjoyed the salad which says a lot.
I am also so glad they extended their hours because now I can stop by after work. With such a wide variety of food, there is truly something for everyone. Highly recommend Latham Bakery for both sweet treats and healthy meals!

I am back again today for more goodness. I am getting the avacodo toast again since it was soooo good the last time I was here a few weeks ago. My wifenis getting the buffalo sandwich which is delicious. We are topping it off with an AWESOME roasted pobolono soup. Y'all have got to come eat at this place. Oh did I mention the scrumptious desserts and pastries they have. I am taking home a slice of heaven, lemon cake. It tastes just like my mom used to make. And yes I already had two bites before I even have my regular order. Come on and make this your next outing. You want regret it.
