Sometimes it’s not about the money it’s about principal. This happens to be one of those times that it’s about principal. Latham bakery in Kaufman Texas is a place that is across the street from a dance studio where tons of the girls go to buy usually lukewarm coffee, pastries, dinner, etc. not to mention the parents that go over there and spend money while their kids are at dance , it’s also a place that I go and overpay for their semi edible pastries, etc. because my daughters like it there . Tell me how you think its ok to charge somebody $.54 for a cup of water, I will make sure I never put a dime into your business again A year ago, that business treated people pretty friendly lately not so much you definitely lost my business , and my families business shame on you that’s gross Again, sometimes it’s just about the principal

Like the food, but service is slow, particularly for even regular coffee. The biggest problem they have however is that there are almost never a clean table. While customers are asked, via signs, to take trays and trash to a specific spot, an employee still needs to wipe down tables.
If we walk in and no customers are at the counter, someone should be tending front of house.

Yummy food. Small wait for it. Good fruit bowl. I had the California Club, and my friend had the Pennine Sandwich. We both liked it. She also had a frozen Pina Colada, which she said was very good too.

The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The coffee was perfect, and the desserts were out of this world! It's the perfect spot for a delightful meal or a sweet treat. Don’t expect anything to be quick. Even placing an online order for a breakfast sandwich an a bagel manages to take them an hour to complete. If you order here, make sure to place it an hour in advance if you have anywhere to be.
