This ice cream is transformational! No, I'm not just saying that! To say that Cold Wave Creations was a dream to visit would be an understatement. Everything is made in house and with an incredibly noticeable commitment to quality. I'm not usually an ice cream person. I typically take a few bites and I'm through. This place successfully converted me! The ice cream is insanely high quality (not like anything I had EVER tried before) and amazingly priced! No metallic tang or sour aftertaste! WAY better than Marble Slab and other chain ice cream places, dare I say, in the state of Texas. I knew every ingredient and could even pronounce them!! Huge plus! The service was also impeccable and the entire place was spotless. We had a thirty-ish minute conversation with the owner and he took the time to talk us through the process along with the flavors. He's so committed to his work and it shows! When (yes- WHEN) you go, you HAVE to try the strawberry! I'm not a professional photographer, but I tried to take a picture because I tend to read reviews with pictures when I'm thinking about visiting somewhere new. The salted caramel ice cream (featured in the picture) is also phenomenal! I genuinely haven't tried a flavor I have disliked this far. This is a tremendous locally owned and operated business to support. What are you waiting for? Quit reading my review! Go!!!

Look, you want some delicious taste in Ice cream pops. You drive your butt over here and choose one of the many delicious flavors she has. I just tried the butter pecan and I will definitely be back to try every other flavor.The sensation presented upon my tongue was overwhelming It was as if I was standing at the top of a mountain with the cold air rushing through my hair memories of my childhood flushing through my brain Suddenly the delicious taste of butter and pecan Started battling each other on my tongue till ultimately they tied love this place good job

The beautiful craftsmanship of the little worm friend with a cowboy hat, was very touching. I'd say it can even bring a grown man to tears. I am very glad I witnessed it. Would look at it again. Fruity pebbles was good too

We stopped by today so we could check them out and we were pleasantly surprised. They had quite a few flavors. We tried root beer float, fruity pebbles, birthday cake and we got our pups a pb treat! We all loved them. Definitely will be going back when we're looking for a sweet treat.

I am reviewing the FRIOS -Haslet mobile truck! They don't have their own Yelp page since they are mobile, so I am leaving it HERE. Today was opening day for Compass.church's new building and FRIOS-Haslet came to visit us! There were amazing flavors to choose from, all gluten free and vegan. I appreciate quality ingredients as I have a dairy intolerance. No sick tummy here! My daughter ordered the blue raspberry and I ordered the frozen hot chocolate. Once she saw mine had marshmallows she took mine haha. No worries though, I took hers :D Great experience, friendly ladies working the mobile truck! They've also visited us in Newark and various Haslet events, each time I've had the same great service. THANK YOU !!
