Is this a joke or scam? Placed a to-go order, pre-paid, and never got a confirmation, so called twice to confirm if they got it before heading over to pick up and got their v-mail which asked if I wanted the fax machine # so hung up, then later received a cancellation with “no explanation available.” WOW - totally confused and disappointed based on reviews.

Great San Antonio style BBQ and Mexican food best in the DFW area. Dino Ribs, turkey, rice and beans. Bothe were very moist and tender. Family friendly atmosphere. Service is always great. Price was good.

First time trying out this spot my brother told me that they have the best food in town, ordered 8 carne asada street tacos was told that they don’t do street tacos then got to pick up my order and it was incorrect asked if they could swap it out for carne asada street tacos and the owner tried to double charge me again after already paying $50 on the wrong order. Never going there again!

Waited for about 30 minutes for our food When the girl finally brought it out I noticed our fries were missing told the girl she leaves and comes back and literally says oh I didn’t charge you for them so… I said oh ok then ok .
Food was delicious and the girl working the counter was so kind.

I come to Keller once a month. I always stop in for breakfast or lunch. JR’s is Delicious BBQ. The BBQ is flavorful/tasty. They have the old fashioned crinkle fries. They are the best. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always clean including the restroom. They are reasonably priced. Love it.

I have eaten and shared my love of BBQ for years traveling the United States in my job, and living for a time in South Texas enjoying the outstanding Tex Mex cuisine of mesquite wood burning smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, etc. JR's is a wonderful experience if you are looking for outstanding BBQ, family outing, very professional, friendly staff, with a wide selection of menu options that are simply delicious! I have tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, mac and cheese, other side dishes, and soups. I have never been disappointed. JR is one of the friendliest, generous, and community- oriented individuals you would ever meet. I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the food for yourself as the flavor of mesquite smoked meat is tantalizing to the taste buds, the atmosphere is very friendly/inviting, and the service the best! Suffice it to say that JR and his staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is memorable, and enjoyable! P.S. ask JR to let you see the fire pits in the back so you can see where the outstanding BBQ is made. JR is very approachable.

OMG!!! I CAN'T EVEN! One of the BEST BBQ recipes I've ever tasted!! JR's Brisket and Pork are absolutely amazing without sauce! Just don't even need or want it! Jr PERSONALLY guided me through catering service to make sure my event was PERFECT. I was beyond thrilled with the results! I never even knew this BBQ jewel was so close to the house! But it's DEFINITELY worth the drive if it's not near you! Jr's BBQ is for connoisseurs!! FULL STOP.
