My husband and I visited Chophouse for the 1st time Saturday night, 9/6/2025. The food, the service, the deserts, the music were outstanding. A great place for a date night or just to hang out in the bar area. Our server was Eric and he was simply amazing.
We came for a Birthday party on Monday night. We were pleased to have many selections to eat including a special menu for weekdays. We chose shrimp & grits, kabobs, sea bass, and pork chops. Everyone was delighted with their choice. The chocolate martini was wonderful. They had a special dessert for the birthday girl. The atmosphere was cozy, perfect for a date night. The server, Eric was attentive but not hovering. We had a great time.
The highlight of the meal was definitely our steaks and dessert. We were surprised to find out that a steakhouse in North Texas buys their meat from Chicago, rather than from local ranchers, but they were tasty. I'd highly recommend the tiramisu. Light, not too sweet, and very delicious. That and a good cup of coffee was a great way to end our meal. The service and the ambiance were a solid three stars, nothing more unfortunately.
