Amazing food and portions for a decent price. We’ve been trying to find a great BBQ place since moving to the area and we think we’ve found it. Tasty brisket, ribs and the burnt ends are my absolute favorite. Highly recommend and will be coming back for seconds!

Tonight was my first and last time. I don’t eat very much . So . I went to order a kids meal and was quickly told he was not allowed to sell a kids meal to an adult . That it is was the same size a the regular meal . That people try to buy the kids meal to get the same amount of food for a cheaper price., REALLY !! Than he stated . I don’t make the rules . I than asked if there was a senior menu and there is not . So I was forced to pay more for a meal I did not eat all of .. Than as we were eating dinner. One of the trivia.players came over to our table and suggest we move our table as we may be in the way.

This is the best BBQ restaurant I have ever had in my entire life. They have smoked filet mignon, which I didn't even know existed. The best filet mignon I have ever had. Also they have the best bartender in Riley. One of the greatest guys I have met. They have an amazing bar. Drinks are cheap and phenomenal. Food is even better. Definitely try it out and I promise you will not disappointed.

We ventured in on a Thursday night. It was a pleasant wide open atmosphere. The food was very good. The banana pudding was delicious! We will be back.

I've been to all the top BBQ spots in DFW and Outpost 36 is in my top 3 with Goldees and Panther City!

What sets them apart from the others is that they use beef tallow to make their sides and desserts. Tallow is a healthier and natural cooking fat compared to seed oils many other places use which has high inflammatory lineloic acid levels.

Also the owner raises his own cattle! To my knowledge all the other BBQ spots get their meat from another outside source. This allows Outpost to have better quality meat with a lesser price for the customer because they cut out the middle man. Amazing!

I highly recommend this spot as their brisket is top notch (just behind Goldees) along with their in house sausage. I'm not much a turkey fan but their turkey ranks right with Goldees as the best I've tried.

They offer a variety of unique homestyle sides all made from scratch in house. Not to mention they have a fantastic brunch that not many know about. I highly recommend to give this place a try, especially if you're a Texas BBQ supporter or just want a good meal to spend with the family.

We stopped in tonight for the first time, although we have been wanting to go since we moved here in August. The Dino ribs are so delicious and fall off the bone. My husband and I shared a medium Dino rib and Mac and cheese; it was very filling for both of us! Someone named Dwight (maybe the pittmaster?) came out and asked us how everything was and even gave us a sample of the filet mignon and a loaf of bread for all of us. He was super sweet and we will definitely come back because of his recommendations! Food was delicious and environment was fun and welcoming

The food was good. The fries were cold, but the staff quickly provided fresh, hot fries. We tried the brisket, turkey, and ham club and tge sausage links.

This is the second time we have been here and it was even better than the first time. The food was fantastic and Chef Dwight came out and spoke to us for a little while and boy does that man have some incredible stories. He also told us his general process for making the food and it makes me appreciate it even more. I would recommend Outpost 36 to anyone who loves BBQ. Also, the banana pudding was easily the best I've ever had.
