Cafe atmosphere, Southlake prices. The pancake was huge and the breakfast croissant was big too. Cant complain too much about breakfast fare, but the sausage patties were the industrial patties and the hashbrowns just were not good. Im not sure that what’s in the picture was worth $25.
Hate to say its getting more difficult to justify eating out.
Parking: If the place is busy, parking close may be a challenge.

Stopped in 2 hours away from home before a Drs appointment to kill time and a birthday breakfast.... The Sunny Street Benedict was so good and almost too pretty to eat! My husband's loaded hash browns were cold and he could only eat the egg part.... Since he couldn't eat the cold undercooked hash browns, I asked for a banana... Little did we know it was a $5 BANANA!!!!

Excellent breakfast. Food was served quickly, but it was very fresh. I ordered the ultimate hashbrowns and was very happy with the portions and quality. I recommend the sour dough bread for the toast choice. Definitely will be back. Couldn’t wait to try it, so excuse the bites in the picture.

Great service and helpful staff! We got our food pretty quickly (within 10 minutes) after ordering. I will say a lot of things we were trying to customize were very expensive. Our waitress told us we could do a build your own omelette, and my additions (like adding onions, mushrooms, bacon, sausage) were going to make a $10+ upcharge. Seems like they need a set price, for instance, $5 extra to add whatever toppings to your omellete. Overall though, we enjoyed our food and our waitress was very helpful and kind. We will be back!
We forgot to take pictures before we started eating so this is not everything we ordered.
Dietary restrictions: I can't eat bread and couldn't sub out my toast for fruit without changing my grits to fruit. It would just be a charge for an additional side, which is fine, just good to keep in mind when ordering.
Parking: It would probably be very easy to find parking normally but in a busy time like we went (Sunday around noon) we had to drive around a bit to find a spot.

On 7/14 my wife and I went to sunny street for our anniversary breakfast we love to frequent this restaurant and it’s sister locations, while being a paycheck to paycheck family and the rising costs due to inflation we made the decision to go there and eat our meals, we were double charged for this. We assumed we would be able to contact the restaurant and it would remedied by the end of the day. We were told the owner would contact us which they did from a blocked caller id, because of this were unable to reach back out and ask questions. It has been over two days since this double charged has been approved and we are now dealing with overdraft fees after paying our bills. I would give one star if not for the years i have gone to this restaurant and have been a proud customer. Our family however comes first and this restaurant has hurt ours. We will be disputing the fraudulent charge.
