Please endure this long review and take the time to read as this place deserves so much more than I can write in a review! This is the place to go for cakes, cup cakes and well great customer service. 15 years ago a coworker bought a cake for a birthday and it was simply amazing. Then others bought cupcakes and cakes, it was always the best. Fast forward to ten years ago and I KNEW this had to be the place to make my wedding cake. Susan/owner greeted me and I said I like spice cake. She had just made cupcakes and they were warm and not frosted- and it tried it! I broke out in goose bumps it was so tasty. I still get these. My daughter is getting married now and of course I went there. She was closed but kept her door open and helped me anyway. She had a few samples and I tried a couple and GOOSE BUMPS!! This place is simply amazing! Susan is amazing and the cakes…. Well she SHOULD charge more it is a simple celebration for your taste buds! Top notch service, SWEET OWNER and amazing cakes and well… I will forever have SWEET MEMORIES!

As a wedding coordinator, I work with a lot of varied caterers, restaurants and bakeries. I can say this was one of the best meals I've ever had! The cake was fantastic as well and the service is extraordinary. Susan is the best!

I had the pleasure of tasting several pies made from Sweet Memories. They are FANTASTIC! Truly, the owners have a gift with baking. I think the price is worth the product that you are getting. Go in and order a pie for Thanksgiving week pick-up; you will not regret it.

The food was not worth the price, served cold, & service was terrible. The cake was dense too! The cream brûlée was not set nor caramelized. Our guests left hungry.

Walked in today looking for a bday cake. After telling me she could have it ready by the date I needed it and after hearing what I wanted, she told me she didn't have time to help me come up with a birthday cake for my 9 yr old daughter, (guess it was too complicated for her taste) and that they stay busy and that she was late for a tasting (literally telling me I don't want to serve you). All you had to do was tell me that up front instead of making a potential customer feel unimportant. That would of been a better choice and I may have returned and brought you more business. It was a simple space themed cake for a 9 yr old! Wrong business to be in if you aren't willing to help someone create a "sweet memory".. I advise anyone looking to go elsewhere. Oh but hey, if you're getting married or something like that, she might make time for you seeing she likes the $$ sign! There wasn't a price I wouldn't pay by the way..it was for a very special girl on a very special day. Luckily, I found a bakery close by there and will go with them! They actually wanted my business!

I reached out for a quote on a wedding cake 9/6/22 via The Knot, 4/6/23 via Wedding Wire, on their website 4/7/23, and by phone somewhere between September 2022 and April 2023 and have never heard back. My wedding is in June and I officially give up on the bakery down the street. So much for "Keep it in Keller".

I strongly advise against using Susan for your catering events. My husband and I first met her at a wedding expo, and we thought she was so nice. Her cakes tasted good, and she really won us over because she was kind and knowledgeable. Fast forward to tasting day. The food was okay, but she mentioned she had someone new in the kitchen, and that it wouldn't be like that the day of the wedding. We tried her cakes, and they were really good, so we decided to move forward. When it came time to discuss the invoice, she made us aware that the 25% gratuity fee was not, in fact, a gratuity. That it was a "service charge." She said that she uses that money to pay her employees. Keep in mind, she also was charging us an hourly rate for each of her employees. Then, at the end, she mentioned, and "usually we get a tip, whatever God puts on your heart to tip at the end of the night." Well, she made sure to tell us right before the wedding that the usual til is $100. (We had every intention of not tipping, but at the end of the day, I tipped because I wasn't sure if her staff would actually get the money we paid). The service fee was charged on everything... The $1000 in disposable dishware (which I removed from her invoice because we got it on Amazon for $350, I including the items for the bar, so we got more for WAY less). And she also included the linen rental in the service fee charge. So, we ended up using a different company for linens.Fast forward to wedding day. The chicken wasn't breaded as we discussed. This may have been my fault, because I asked for the chicken reggiano like she had at the event venue at their open house. It wasn't the same. Both my husband and I thought the food was decent, also neither of us ate the entire day. So anything probably would have tasted good. When we got home from our honeymoon and I spoke with family, they were blunt and honest and said the food was horrible. The worst part? We ordered a specific cake flavor for the grooms cake. My husband was so excited for it. And 10-11 days prior to the event (which is when she needed the final information), I emailed her to ask for chocolate icing on the grooms cake. Well... Day of the wedding, we have two white cakes. And the grooms cake is a cheesecake, and two other layers of some cake, which is not what we ordered. She laughed about it and said that with the storm (5 days prior to our wedding) his cake didn't come in.We emailed her a few days after the wedding expressing disappointment. Needless to say, she didn't respond.Only use her if you like paying way too much for less than quality service. And I hope the thousands of extra dollars we paid actually went to her staff. Because they should have each made a very nice sum from our wedding considering how much we paid in tip, service fee, and their hourly rate.Stay away. You'll enjoy your wedding day more if you have a caterer you can trust.

Beautiful mini-desserts and display. On time and excellent customer service. One caveat: I did not request an itemized list prior to contracting vendor (which is 100% my responsibility) -- However, I was shocked to see final bill, which included $550 of intangibles ($141 tax; $300+ service charge; almost $100 credit card usage fee) In addition, basic coffee & set up was $350 (for 100 cups), etc. I 'thought' I knew how much total would be approximately... I was way off.I would simply suggest you ask for an itemized estimate incl fees prior to contracting service to avoid any surprises. Again, a live and learn lesson for me.

I experienced SMC&C at a wedding reception. Susan Clark is an amazing chef and orchestrated her team to perfection. The appetizer layout was nicely displayed with an abundance in variety. All the food was cooked from scratch. For the main service, the beef tenderloin was delicious and cooked just right. And the mashed potatoes...wow! The cakes were beautiful and tasty. The entire staff was attentive and friendly. I strongly recommend SMC&C for any event. Well done, Susan!

The cake was beautiful and simple, which was fine. We got a 2 tiered 8" chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream (for $75). I specifically asked about their buttercream and said our preference was American buttercream and plain chocolate. They agreed, said they had their own recipe, it wasn't too sweet and would be delicious. Unfortunately, my husband's birthday was ruined when we bit into the cake to discover they use ALMOND EXTRACT in their buttercream. It's a very noticeable flavor and no one in our family likes it. This is not chocolate buttercream, it's chocolate almond buttercream. Needless to say, no one finished their slice (in a dessert loving family) and he took the rest of the cake into work (with a note that it contained almond extract). I don't object to them, or their cakes, but I do think if you're adding flavoring you should disclose it - especially when a customer orders specifically *plain chocolate cake* with *plain chocolate buttercream*.So buyer beware, ALL their buttercream flavors, according to the woman I spoke to today, contain almond extract. If you don't mind almond flavoring, they are very friendly!

We hired Sweet Memories for our wedding and were blown away with the food and desserts. We had so many guests say that was some of the best food they have ever had. Susan was such a joy to work with and truly makes you feel like family. Everything was exactly what we had wanted and hoped for.
