Excellent food and vibes! They cook all the food here fresh from scratch. BYOB and my friends and I love to sit down and drink beer and hang out and eat some good authentic Mexican food. Hand washing stations, shaded places to sit with fans, and they even have Mexican coke and other sodas. Serving sizes are big! Highly recommend.
Have had this place on my radar for a couple of months, wary that many Mexican street food places here don't get it quite right. Well I can now rest easy because I have found the most authentic Mexican street food in Houston, and this is probably the best Mexican food in Houston period. This is not tex-mex and this is not a forward modern take on Mexican dishes. This is the place Bourdain would visit - this is the real deal.
Man working the Grill makes a mean taco. The al pastor was crazy especially with the green salsa. It's a little pricey, but tacos are big and really good. Worth it. Won't get tacos anywhere else now. Watched him give a free Gatorade to one of the construction workers that was also eating there cuz he was low on $. Good guy. Good food.
