As soon as you walk in there is a restroom odor where the hostess stand is. 2nd was the waitresses had on the tightest short shorts on. The shorts were literally giving them wedgies. The restaurants gives off high end service, but the waitresses looking like they work in a hole in the wall restaurant. 3rd woman restroom seriously needs some maintenance and a good cleaning. The food was alright.

Our waitress was amazing! She gave us recommendations that were super helpful. We actually were able to get the seafood platter and the stuffed snapper and that was plenty of food for the four of us! I would definitely visit Flying Dutchman again!

I never right bad reviews about restaurant experiences but this tine this one got to ke and just wont leave my mind for two days. Turns out my wife and I are fairly new to the Seabrook and Kemah area. We love to live out here, and so Saurday monring decided to go for a walk around the Kemah Boardwalk. After an hour of walking and enjoying the waterfront view, we passed right by Flyibg Dutchman. A bunch of people were outdoors having breakfast. It was 11:05, and the restaurant had its breakfast sign right on the dock inviting for breakfast. So we asked to get breakfast service and the first waitress told us to pick a table. So we did and then waited to get service. Another waitress came to us and so we asked her for the breakfast menu. She immediately tells us that they are no longer serving breakfast. So we asked if they could maybe make an expectation since it was only a few minutes paste 11. She said no, and she told us outload to have a good day and goodbye. It was very rude and humiliating. Here I was wanting to have a nice and chill breakfast with my wife on the Dock, and we get treated badly by a rude waitress. We will not go back and will let others know so they also dont visit this place. Discrimination at its best. No doubt

My mom, nephew, and I visited this restaurant around 7:30 PM. I ordered the stuffed catfish with rice and steamed vegetables, while my mom chose the Mardi Gras pasta.
Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly. I had requested a booth with a high chair through the Google reservation system, but when we arrived, we had to go to the front and get the high chair ourselves. The woman at the front, who had black curly hair, was vaping and seemed completely indifferent to our needs.
Our server, Arianna, brought our food but didn't check back on us afterward. She seemed in a rush, avoiding our table entirely. My mom's drink was oddly fizzy, almost like horchata, and she had to wave at Arianna multiple times to get her attention for a replacement. Arianna seemed hesitant and unsure whether to have the bartender fix it.
My own meal was disappointing. The rice was warm, but the catfish was barely lukewarm, as if it had been sitting in the kitchen for too long.
Although my mom told me not to worry about it, we asked for Cajun seasoning, which seemed to annoy Arianna. She rolled her eyes several times when approaching our table. The restaurant wasn’t even busy—there was just one family dining outside—so there was no excuse for the rudeness and lack of care.

The service was good. The people greeted you well and the wait staff was attentive. The cheese seafood dip tasted good. The stuffed catfish was very tasting. The flavors were delicious. The stuffed red snapper was a bit dry.

My sister and I ate there and we sat outside. Our server was Seth and he was professional. The food was excellent and for a good price. I had the blacken catfish topped with crawfish. It was very tasty. We had beers. We watched the boats come in and out of the canal. I paid with a credit card but forgot to take my card out of the receipt book. I realized after when I stopped to get gas. I rushed back about 15 minutes to closing, they had my card. I was flying back home early to my home Cozumel so I am so glad they had my card and nothing has been charged on it. Thank you very much for your honesty.
Parking: We did have to park far away but I like walking. The lots charge $15

Once again Flying Dutchman didn’t disappoint. I ordered the ranch chicken sandwich was phenomenal from the poppy seed bun to the bacon, to the tender and flavorful chicken breast. The french fries were fresh and delicious. Our server Arie was informative about the menu items.
