I like Kipp Rose. Cornhole, big chess, 1 pool table. There is a nice fire pit with swings around it. It won't be cool enough to do that for a while, probably, but it was really nice a couple of weeks ago. Good prices, good drinks!! I didn't eat here. I think you can order food from their other concepts, check it out!

I think this is the best place in the Kemah area for mixing music.If you come before 10 PM, it'll be a chill bar or social nights where you can sip and chat with soft music playing, making Saturday nights far from boring. But after 10 PM, when the DJ starts playing and mixing, the place instantly becomes more vibrant. I like it - the dim atmosphere allows for uninhibited dancing. The music, which excites and entertains, ensures we're never bored on a Saturday night. The place has both old and new songs mixed together, so both young adults and the middle-aged can enjoy their time here without getting bored.P.S. This place doesn't have a drink menu, which is odd, but if you're into drinking, just tell them. They can make you anything.

Didn't have food. The DJ was terrible, seemed like it was one big TikTok thing changing songs every 20 seconds at best. Ambiance, inside bar--meh, the bartenders (4?) were so into themselves and selfies you could barely get a drink--and it was a small bar-- The place did however, seem to have a large outdoor space with a lot of games and large TV's. Prob a great place during the day or for a game--i didn't really like it for a Friday night.

My friend was drugged and could not move in the restroom. The owner and bartenders and security guard were only caring about getting us out the door and had the door open telling us “if you want I can drag her out” when I told them “what do you want me to do, she’s not ok”. They spoke to me very rudely and were asking what I gave my friend insinuating I gave her something and the security guard asked what I meant by “I think she was given something” and said “you mean [bernbituates]”. I said “you mean like BARbituates?” Mind you this security guard did not even check our ID’s on the way in. They kept propping the door open for the whole bar to see and I asked them if they could close it and an older blonde woman and a short security guard with black hair were saying “no not until yall are out”. Needless to say I had to call ems and have my friend tested at the hospital because something was very wrong and they DID NOT CARE AT ALL. My friends ID and debit card also went missing during this.

Kipp rose has such a cool vibe! Decor is great. Lots of inside and outside space. Drinks and service were on point! Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty but so was Kemah. It's a perfect hangout spot w friends.

Cool place, but the security guys could be a little more friendly. After all, we all go to have a good time. We shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable about it.
Drinks are pretty good and reasonably priced. But this place is 10x better when DJ Zitro is on the house.

Tied for first place as my favorite Kemah bar! The location is great. We love the bartenders- especially Michelle, Ona and Suzie!! The drinks are well priced and the tacos that they have sometimes on weekends are cheap and delicious, plus cooked right in front of you. There is so much entertainment including a giant chess board on the lawn. They now have a firepit with porch swings surrounding it and built in booths on the patio. It's the perfect combination of upscale but relaxed and I always see a ton of old friends or make friends while I'm there.Ps. Security is on point-we love Deon!
