I recently checked out Tookie's Seafood and had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy some good seafood. I ordered the Gulf red snapper along with the fried alligator and kept it simple with a couple of bottled waters. The snapper was fresh and cooked just right flavorful, tender, and definitely the standout of the meal. The fried alligator was a fun addition too, crispy on the outside and nicely seasoned. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out in a reasonable time. It felt like a place that cares about both the food and the customer experience. Overall, I would recommend Tookie’s Seafood if you’re looking for fresh, well prepared seafood in a laid back setting. I would definitely come back.
Can't go wrong with Tookies if you're ever in Kemah! The fried mushroom is to die for. 😊

What a terrible experience. What a rip off. There's nothing good to say about this place. We ordered a pitcher of Texas beer for a Tuesday night special of $5.00 off. Come to find out the pitcher of beer was $18.00. Good grief. Makes me feel stupid to think that's supposed to be a good deal. The burger was lousy and the fries are lousy.
McDonald's has way better food.
As far as burger joints go, I love it! The stuffed peppers are the best ever! The burger options are really good 👍🏻

Too noisy. Food was 2.5 out of 5. Bodybuilder waiter was friendly. Too many employees standing around cackling. Not recommended.

This is a local one of a kind place that serves great burgers, fries and onion rings. They do it right. They do it full of flavor. They get your food to you quickly. The servers are professional. Outside seating overlooks marina. Place has atmosphere and is a good place to go. Big Fat Homemade Onion rings are great but I prefer the hula hoops-skinny O-rings.
I had the #99. LOTS OF FLAVOR.
Lots of place do chicken fingers/tenders and fries but Canes does it right.

Fantastic burgers and Chili Dogs. Our service was great although they forgot us up front sitting there and seated 2 tables before we said something. 👍

We were there for a burger experience - so as far as onion rings, drinks, burgers and overall environment, 4.8 stars. HOWEVER, in the matter of a split second, we questioned everything. Another barista came into the bar area where our bartender was with a glass full of light beer and had her smell it. She appeared to agree that there was some kind of odor. Instead of just getting a new glass and re-serving it with fresh tap beer, we watched her RECONSTITUTE the beer in another glass and gave it a top off from the draft and sent it back to the barista. 👀😐👀😐WHAT?!?! We were utterly disgusted. So yeah. There’s that. She should have just done the standard SOP and just get a new glass with NEW FRESH BEER!!! Omg. 😦

Had a bean burger and onion rings. It is so large that I share my meal. The burger is full of flavor, while the onion rings are large slices. The rings are the best I have ever had.

Went specifically to have a cheeseburger - after seeing the spot on tv recently about the quality and how delicious the food was; especially the burgers. Sadly, it wasn’t worth the 45 minute drive. I ordered the classic, my buddy ordered the Champion; both with the ground beef being so salty that we questioned whether the cook dropped the salt shaker on the grill. Fried mushrooms were great and so was the malt I ordered. I’ll come back at some point, but it definitely won’t be for the burgers.
