Wasn't fond of the burgers. No offense. Just wasn't my taste. I remember them much better at their old location. We had fries and onion rings as well as fried jalapenos and I don't know if it was the oil used, but my husband and I both had potty issues that night. So we won't be back. Food tasted fine, but no bueno on the oil used to fry with.
I was visiting from Lake Charles and was looking for a place to eat. Tookies was one of the first restaurants that came up. I went to this restaurant after being at Kemah Boardwalk for most of the day and the burgers are awesome as well as the fries. The BBQ bacon burger was freshly cooked and delicious.
This place has good food. Sat outside and since it was already in the evening, the cool breeze of the bay was coming in. It felt nice and spent a good time with friends and family. The service was excellent and prizes are reasonable.
