bartenders here are quiet possibly giving the worst service i have ever experienced at a bar. all the girls who were working this past saturday night gave me and my entire group i was with attitude and rolled their eyes at us when we tried to pay cash because our card wasnât working. iâve been to this place a couple of other times too and every time i go the bartenders or servers are always rude as hell. the girls working here have no level of understanding of what good service at a bar should be. a lot of them are entitled therefore rude to their guest. they also wanted to charge us 100 dollars when all we had ordered was one beer bucket. do not recommend.

We went for a birthday celebration, the food was good, service was good, we can hear the music from outside wich was perfect. So it wasn't super loud. I wish they had more heaters for outside so it wasn't to cold in some tables.

Jenny was amazing. She wasn't supposed to be our server. However, since she was so kind and sweet, we asked if she could be. She was amazing, attentive, and had awesome recommendations. Jake, the chef, spoke with us, and he was very kind. He talked about the different recipes he has and all of the upcoming things he's doing. I recommend this spot 10/10. The food looks exactly like the pictures and tastes even better. We sampled a few things, so our bill was higher than it would be had we just ate for 1. However, the prices, even with us being "fat kids," were very reasonable.

I need to bring up a concern regarding the security guard from last night. There was an incident where decisions were made based on the input of someone who was clearly intoxicated, leading to a significant misunderstanding and, ultimately, a poor decision. It felt like judgment was being passed based on appearances rather than a fair assessment of the situation, which is not acceptable. Until I have a chance to speak with someone about this, Iâd advise others to be cautious if theyâre considering going there to avoid similar mistreatment. Iâd like to discuss this further with management to ensure all guests are treated respectfully and fairly moving forward.
Update: Just so we all understand how this business operates: they responded to the actual victim on Google but used my name instead. Itâs sad to see they have the same automatic message for every review, rather than showing genuine concern for people who spend their money here only to be treated poorly. If they canât even address the right person in a review response, itâs no surprise theyâre careless in selecting their âsecurity guards.â

We had the personal boil and catfish. The value for both meals were great. The catfish was a bit on the blander side but was made up for by the sauce. The seafood boil was good - as long as youâre comfortable with peeling shrimp and cracking the crab shells. Even if youâre not itâs a fun experience. The hot sauce that it comes with was phenomenal and is what Iâd recommend from the dishes that we had. The atmosphere was lit though. Live music, fun lighting and decor to actually feel like a voodoo hut.
Dietary restrictions: Thereâs seafood options for anyone looking to avoid meat thatâs affordable.

Every time I go to The Voodoo Hut, itâs a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is always lively and fun, making it a place where you canât help but have a great time. Even the one time I went with just my nephew, showing up kind of stag, the night turned into a blast. We ended up meeting a group of friendly people, and by the end of the night, we were dancing and laughing in a sea of good vibes. The drinks are reasonably priced and well-made, which is always a plus. But what really sets this place apart is the bartenders. Theyâre friendly, attentive, and create a welcoming environment without that âhurry up and tip meâ attitude you sometimes get elsewhere. They make you feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. The Voodoo Hut has become one of my favorite spots to unwind and have fun. Whether youâre with a group or just dropping in solo, youâre bound to leave with a smile. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great drinks, a good crowd, and an unforgettable night out.

I was there last night with a couple of friends and my fiancĂ© I went to the womenâs restroom as I am a woman but because of my physical appearance of having short hair and possibly not having ânormalâ female attributes most are used to I was discriminated against for using the restroom. A male security guard busted into the womenâs restroom banged on my stall do was cussing at me and wanted to become violent towards me my fiancĂ© was luckily in the restroom with me when this happened and was able to tell the security guard that I was in fact a woman. Iâm glad I was in the stall when this happened because who knows what wouldâve happened if I wasnât safely locked in there and was out washing my hands he couldâve easily become physical towards me. Super uncomfortable situation and unprofessional in my opinion.
