Salad bar was good, steak fingers good, service friendly but never got my side dish, lunch took almost 40 minutes, restroom had no stall locks, no tissue and one was out of order and trash running over.

This place has good food and friendly environment, but the service is just ok. The down side is it never is open at the posted times. I sat in my car along with 4 other vehicles waiting for the place to open for breakfast. The sign says open at 7am on Sunday morning and at 7:30 we are still waiting. I have waited more than 5 times in the morning to get breakfast and finally just gave up.

Although the restaurant interior is a bit spartan, the waitresses were very nice and responsive. Food was very good. Salad bar was adequate in selection, salad items were fresh. Overall, great cafe, better than I would have expected in Kermit and given the "storefront".

Good friendly service and very good chicken fry, gravy and French fries. Small but great salad bar. The only complaint was the very small bowl to put the salad in. Would definitely go back.
