Stopped in for lunch and it absolutely hit the spot. Had the burger and salad bar — both excellent. Service was fast, friendly, and personal, and the portions were perfect for a working man’s appetite. Great small-town diner feel with real hospitality. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
Chicken fried steak with brown gravy did not disappoint it was delicious. My side was fried okra which was hot fresh and tasty. Lady who checked me out I have never seen her before but she was very friendly and even reassured my order with me. She was very apologetic about the wait however I did not mind at all. I would have added a photo but who has time for that when hungry lol.
I'm very confused!! The "lunch special" says salad and dessert with whatever the lunch special is. So two of us got the special and got a salad bowl, and my boss just got the salad bowl by itself. But when the ticket arrived, it had 2 lunch specials at close to 15 each, and the salads aren't with the special after all and are 6 or 7 bucks each?!? The 3 iced tea all 3$ each. we didn't even get any desserts. so for us 3 to eat one, just getting a salad was...
