Flounder was mushy. Not good at all. Sauce was sort of jello like on top. Flavor wasn’t there at all. Catfish my husband got was okay not good nor bad. When this place opened I loved it and wanted to give it a try but definitely was horrible. Server was nice. But with the prices you pay here you expect it to not be horrible. Would have rather went and got fast food. Very disappointed
The Steak was ok, I have had many better. The sides were good but I would prefer almost any bread over Cornbread which is what they offer. The service was slow but I know it is hard to get help these days.

Didn’t eat here, stayed next door. Just wanted to note they had a playground for kids, which I thought was cool.

Kid-friendliness: They have a small, unshaded playground for kiddos. Looked pretty clean from the parking lot.

Service and food is great. The chips and salsa was a huge 20 "x20" square platter not a bowl. The grilled chicken was delicious. Charred but also juicy. My steak tacos were also generous portion and served neatly in a stand up taco tray. The only problem is t he location is hard to get to because you can see it but not tell where to turn. I believe google even showed foot steps the last 100 feet to it fromtheshell station. But if you look there is a turn and sign.
The city of kerville needs to let this locally owned biz have a sign up front just as the large national junk food chains are allowed. It would make it easier to access. The city of kerville already lacks local food in this area it makes me feel like I'm in Orlando when I can only eat clown burger, ice cream drive through, and microwave barrel food. Sometimes I want a steak, chicken, and fresh vegetables and this place offers that.
Lastly unfortunately I didn't get the female servers name but she was attentive, friendly, and sent us with to go drinks on the 100 ' day we were there.

We walked in around 2pm. Only 2 other patrons were in restaurant. Took 10 minutes before a waitress appeared, saw us and walked back to the kitchen. Another waiter appeared & turned to disappear. After 15 minutes, a waitress appeared, sat us and said she's not our waitress and will get one. Another 10 minutes goes by. Our waitress finally appeared and acted like she was doing us a favor. No apologies for long wait. No welcoming to the 5D. She asked what we wanted to drink & go ahead and order food as well so she could turn it in. At this point, I was done. We left and went to The Lakehouse, enjoyed an excellent meal and had prompt, outstanding service. I will not pay good $$ to be treated like that. I realize we were there in the middle of the afternoon, but if you advertise you're open, then be ready to accommodate the patrons.
Waited 47 minutes for our appetizers. Not enough wait servants and/or cooks were slow

We came here for dinner to celebrate my grandfather’s birthday and the service was exceptional! The steaks were made to perfection. Everything was fresh. The margaritas were on point, sweet tea was delicious, and their desserts were amazing! Thank you very much.
