CLOSED PERMANENTLY. Had some yummy tacos last time I was here. Salsas we're good too.

Tacos are HUGE — stuffed to the max — I don’t mind paying a buck more here, especially since the tortillas (flour and corn) are so fresh!

Food is awesome. Tacos are filled no skimping 1 taco is plenty for myself. Only reason not getting 5 stars is all tacos are $4.50+ I have issues buying a nearly $5 bean and cheese. Although it is large like all others its beans cheese on a tortilla not the same or anywhere close to say barbacoa which is a great deal for its size and amount of meat. You could make 4 tacos the size of say taco Togo or taco cabana and only $4.70 I still can't get past the $4.50 bean and cheese. All this said I stop in twice a week

Supporting your local food spots is a great opportunity for town or city. Good amount of portion compared to other places

If I could give no stars, I would. Came in this morning and the lady taking orders was very rude. "Dined in" and was given the wrong food. No apology. She just shrugged her shoulders and said "oh".....um maybe correct the wrong food or offer a refund? My wife and I just left and didn't eat anything. The food here is good but the service was very poor. Maybe the lady working the front should find a different job if she isn't going to be hospitable.

Some of the best AM tacos I've had.

Excellent breakfast tacos. Carne guisada was wonderful. Tacos are huge just wish I had 4 of the red salsa cups. One was not enough. Thanks Alex's Tacos.

Visited Alex’s Tacos during our stay in Kerrville because of their high ratings. When I say these were some of the best tacos we have ever had that says a lot, we are from San Antonio and surrounded by great taquerias. So good. The staff was friendly and the portions were large. The only drawback was the shock when we got our total. I know the price of food and operating a business has risen, but we spent more on breakfast tacos there than we ever have. So all and all, excellent tacos, my compliments to the cook, there’s a lot of love in their food. But just be aware, it comes at a price.

Great food and generous portions. Carne asada is excellent and Alex is a genuinely nice man.

I drove past this place while camping in Kerrville and noted to myself that it was really close to Kerrville Schreiner Park. I went on line and looked at their offerings and saw the Frank taco. There was no doubt that was in my future. The next morning, I woke up without my alarm clock at 6:30 AM. It was too dark to go on a hike or anything, so I got dressed and drove the short distance to Alex's and got some tacos. I got one Frank taco. I can't find the menu online anymore, so I'll have to go by memory. It was HUGE and heavy. It was stuffed with carne guisada, chicharonnes, refried beans, and cheese. I'm sure there was something else, but I can't remember. Anyway, this is a taco you need to put on a plate and eat with a knife and fork. It was SOOOO good. I also got one bean and cheese taco. That's the one I actually evaluate taco places by. It was very good. The beans were cooked and flavored perfectly. The tortilla was "OMG good"! It had the perfect amount of cheese on it. For me, it was overkill, because the Frank taco was stuffing. This one was almost as huge. I will be going back to Alex's when I visit Kerrville Schreiner Park. I can't afford to do it regularly. I'm actually afraid to know the calorie content of that Frank taco. It has to be about 2,000! I will add that the parking, as mentioned in other reviews, is a bit strange. They have about five spaces right off the road. There is a large rough and uneven area that will hold several more. I parked there, as I did not want to have to back out onto the road during rush hour. And, YES, Kerrville has a morning rush hour. I was kind of shocked to learn that.

This was my first time visiting. I had heard about from some good friends. The tacos were yummy, however, the customer service could be improved! I would have given a 5 stars if the customer service would have been better!!!
