Broken Stone is one of my favorite pizza places in Central Texas. Their sauce and dough are very authentic compared to New York pizzas I remember growing up in New York. Their crust had the big bubbles and always has a crisp bottom. The toppings are always fresh and seem to be carefully chosen for high quality. My family and friends always make a stop here on our trips to the area. I didn’t rate the atmosphere since we always get our food for take out or delivery.

Their pizza is yummy!!! I MUCH prefer it to the pizza chains like Little Ceaser’s, Pizza Hut and others. You can also buy by the slice which is great for a single person who can only eat 2-3 slices. Also the slices are very generous in size and your slices can be made just the way you like it. The thin crust makes the slices even better! My only complaint are their hours. They close at 8 pm. Even on weekends. People are out later on weekends and often eat late too… so an 8 pm closing time just doesn’t work well for weekend dining. They have also recently closed the drive thru which is really missed. It was super handy for busy families & singles.

The pizza was good and the employees were nice.

Being from Chicago I know my pizza. I ordered two slices of pepperoni and was absolutely wowed by the flavor. I called them back to tell them how good it was. I'm actually thinking about going to get two more slices! With all the corporate options, I would rather support small businesses anyways and this one deserves recognition. I'll be back!

I am originally from NYC. This pizza is by far the best pizza I have tasted in Texas!

The Hot Italian sandwich is my favorite, but the pizza is pretty awesome too. Love the thin chewy crust. Also, the Caesar salad is amazing. Very peppery, not too strong, just right. This is a good place to stop for lunch. Casual dining for working folks.

No tap to pay here. Like Apple Pay or Google pay. The food is great! ? but a little bit of a wait time for the slice. Come and try it yourself. It’s delicious.

This was a great place to stop for dinner. Playing Christian music was a nice change of pace in this home feeling town. The service was really good and friendly. The pizza was very tasty and I would have given 5 stars but the bottom of the pizza was a little more burnt than the pizza should have been. Probably just a one off and I would definitely try them again.

I ordered a cheese pizza and the Onassis specialty. To preface this, I was looking for something middle of the road and something different. Both pizzas had EXTREMELY sour sauce, to the point of difficult to chew. Also, despite claiming of NY STYLE, this was absolutely not that...NY Style is crispy, hand tossed crust with only the very edges crispy and the rest of the crust is pliable to accommodate folding the slice. Maybe an off day?

Good pizza, but it's best to dine in. Take out gets cold quickly. (Not their fault, though). Service is pretty good. They do get busy, and staff are doing double duty. I'd recommend the meat lovers pizza. I always ask for easy sauce, too. (Sometimes too much sauce takes away from the pizza experience), lol...just my opinion.

Vegetarian options: They do offer a veggie pizza and different salad selections.

I’m sure I’ve had worse pizza sometime but this was the worst pizza I’ve had in years! The pizza store was full of smoke and you can barely breathe. Do yourself a favor and bring your own food to Kerrville.

Good pizza by the slice. Caprese salad was great. Loved the maple balsamic dressing with it. Only reason for the 4 stars on atmosphere was due to the constant Christian music playing. Could have done without that. I would have made it 4.75 stars if that had been possible.

Good little pizza spot in Kerrville. It was extremely smoky inside when we came in. Service was good and Lauren was attentive. The wings were saucy, the crust was great.
