We stopped there on a Thursday bike night. The waitresses were overwhelmed. I had the chicken parmesan and my friend had the meatball sandwich. The food was good, but nothing special. The garlic knots are really tasty.

Carmines Italian has amazing food, the servers and owners are so personal and friendly! We were well taken care of and the restaurant has an authentic Italian look that feels homey. We ordered their Chicken Rustica Pizza, the vegetarian and pasta meat sauce that all tasted delicious! We can’t wait to go back again and soon!

First off, the walk in was amazing very Italian Romantic feel. This is date night awesome with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin playing in the back ground definitely added to the romantical atmosphere. Now the service, we were greeted with smiles and a man so jolly like the cook from the Disney Movie Lady and the Tramp, very welcoming. The FOOD, our waiter suggested the Fried Calamari as an appetizer and it was amazing I Hope they never take it off the menu. We ordered the Non-Spicy Chicken Alfredo lunch portion and the Spicy Alfredo dinner portion which is twice the size and last but certainly not least in any way is their BREAD OMG it is the best bread I’ve eaten at an Italian Restaurant hands down and thumbs up. The Tiramisu was amazing just the right amount of espresso kick to get your mind focused after lunch. We ate, laughed and had a really good time with the staff, definitely had a wonderful meal. Took my wife to lunch there today on her lunch break. Spent 50 minutes eating after getting my food at the 30 min mark. Didn't get my salad, had to keep asking the waiter for service, went to pay and had to find the waiter to get my card back, finally had my salads handed to me on the way out the door without utensils, so I just rejected it. Very poor service and food. The wife had the eggplant parmesan, more like soup. Everything tasted so bland. VERY BUMMED OUT. ZERO TIP. The garlic bread was regular dining buns slightly toasted. SUX, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Also looked under staffed, with only 10 other patrons.

Great service and amazing food ..we loved everything about this place!! The waitress was very friendly and attentive, we did not wait long for our food, which was served hot and fresh. We do not live in Kerrville, but we will be returning just to go back to Carmine's!
Carmine's is an original NY city pizza shop. Great pizza with that great NY pizza crust that is faithfully made here. Great Italian dishes from spaghetti to seafood. All fresh ingredients that make restaurant food so tasty. Daily specials. I eat here regularly.
Dietary restrictions: Splurge once in a while, although italian food is healthy
Parking: There's only about 12 parking spots for three businesses, but usually, there's an open one.
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids sized menu and enjoy children there since this is a family run business with Carmines adult children working in the kitchen.
