Absolutely a most charming, old fashion, country feeling, greeted by staff the moment the door opens, and then the food!!!!😱The best fries, and my Texan by birth husband reports the best chicken fried steak he's ever eaten. The staff is like family to all customers. No regrets here nor will you ever forget this cafe!

We are Winter Texans and have passed by many times and finally decided to stop and have lunch. First of all, Hill Country Cafe is a quaint Kerrville staple with an abundance of history and charm. And to top that, the owner and all the staff are very personable...they made us feel right at home.

Cozy, hometown diner serving up traditional homemade breakfast with some small town charm. The local business cards imbedded into tables, cups and mugs, all add to the nostalgia. Old school at its finest. Breakfast was excellent! Crispy hash browns, fluffy eggs, homemade biscuits and gravy and blueberry pancakes were all perfect. The real kicker is the homemade salsa they brought out without even asking. Delicious!
