Great atmosphere but food sure has declined. Waitress said they don't make their own tortilla chips, but they do make their tortillas. Service is good. Food is mediocre and I have going to Mamacitas since Hagi owned it. visiting family made same assessment of their dishes.

This is the best place in kerrville to get a steak believe it or not. No matter what I get, it comes out perfectly. Also, I think they said all but one desert is home made.....I have come for lunch and dinner multiple times.

Everyone was so very pleasant. Our waitress ELISE was super sweet, professional and very attentive. Excellent food and atmosphere.
I don't know if it is a Sunday thing or what, but we ordered margaritas with our meal today. Normally my head gets a little swirling because they can be a little strong. Today I would lay money down that they had zero alcohol. My dad even sent his back and asked them to remake it with alcohol this time. The manager took it, returned and said he had them put 'half a shot more' in there. Half a shot for a jumbo margarita that cost $17.50? To be fair, this is the first time we have ever had this happen . It was disappointing for sure. Waitress was great. Food was good. But virgin drinks being passed off for adult beverages, disappointing.

There was a chewed up piece of gum in our basket of chips. We did not realize until we got to the bottom of the bowl. One chip was stuck to the paper, and when we pulled it there was a wad of chewed up gum. The manager explained that none of the workers there would be chewing gum, which is them admitting they recycle chips then. Because neither my friend nor I had gum. It was so gross and they didn’t even discount our food. They just gave us a free desert we didn’t even want. Never going back!!
