They’ve done some nice stuff to spruce up the patio since I was last there years ago, but that’s the nicest thing there. The service is absolutely horrible (it was never really great but managed to get so much worse) and the food is mediocre at best. The only thing good about the experience was the oysters and the fact that my kiddo liked them. The “18 year olds” waiting on you need some serious training and the kitchen really needs to learn to time things better and maybe change out their fry oil! I won’t be coming back.

Took almost 2 hours to get our food. Service was kind, but restaurant was only 1/3 full. Take time to train. Can’t come back because we can’t commit this amount of time for a meal. Food was alright, hence 2 stars.

We had a party of 4 that ate dinner there a couple of days ago. The worst fried catfish I've ever eaten. They have fresh cut fries, which is my favorite, but they were overcooked and crunchy. My spouse and daughter had undercooked tasteless fish smothered with crawfish. The etoufee was average. The boudin balls were awful. Our waitress was nice and attentive. It's unfortune that the food is lacking bc it's a great location on the river.

We got the fish basket which comes with fries. Fish was delish, fries were over done and had a burnt taste. Solo cups were used for our soft drinks, no lids. ?

I'm visiting my mom from out of town for her first week of cancer treatment. When I asked her what she wanted before she started feeling too bad to eat she said seafood.When we walked into the restaurant we weren't greeted but the sign said to take a seat so we did.We literally sat there with not so much as a hello for over 30 minutes. Almost all of the waitresses looked at us just sitting there. Not one greeting. No drinks.I get that they were busy but service shouldn't be so terrible.

It was our first visit after hearing great things. We were not acknowledged for a long time after seating ourselves. The server was not very attentive. When our server brought our plates out, she informed us they had no chopped lettuce and that our salads would be delayed. We weren't really interested in having our salads after our entrées. Interestingly, the table next to us was told their salads were delayed because they had no clean salad plates.The food, however, was very good.

We waited for about 20min for anyone to wait on us. I had to walk in and get someone's attention. The place definitely needs an update but I gave it a chance. I've been to some dive bars with the best food and people so I was willing to try. When we finally got a waitress,we got the surf and turf, a shrimp platter, and shrimp etouffe. The shrimp was a good size and had good flavoring. The steak wasn't sensational but it was a good cut. The eutoffe, was gumbo, but not great. However, the bathrooms needed attention, the staff was completely unwelcoming, and unfortunately I overhead a conversation that was not becoming. I would save my time and money and just go somewhere else. You'll get better service, better, food, and spend your time in a better atmosphere.

The outdoor patio was awesome. The service was lacking at best. Took forever to get our food & had to wait on one basket till end of meal. The food was bland & had no "cajun" flavor to it at all. Made a special trip to Kerrville to eat there & regretted it. Needless to say we will never return. When we tried to leave a comment on FB they immediately took it down. Guess they can't handle constructive criticism.

Ordered 3lbs of crayfish which was the minimum it was horrible the smell was disgusting and they were mushy inedible. No refunds which is the first line on the menu .
