Took a mid-afternoon drive to this spot on a quest for desserts and was not disappointed. Truly a hidden gem with a full cafe, a large dessert selection along with a beautiful nursery and gift store. My traveling companion and I selected four desserts to share - a molasses cookie, a pecan/chocolate/coconut pie, a cherry turnover, and a twisted almond pastry. All were good, but the two pastries stole the show. We are hoping to go back tomorrow to try the carrot cake cupcake...
The wedding cakes I ordered were gorgeous and delicious. We kept things simple and elegant for our garden wedding. The main cake had three tiers with different flavors and succulents for decorations, and the groom's cake was a tree stump in keeping with our nature theme. The guests were surprised to learn the cakes were gluten-free because they said they tasted so amazing. The staff was great to work with and delivered our cakes the morning of the wedding. Not getting married?...
My husband and I loved this place! Beautiful scenery, excellent service and delicious food. They have a cute gift shop and garden area as well. Had to buy some baked goods and cookies to go! If you want to experience the Texas Hill Country at its finest - check this place out!!!
