This is a basic dive restaurant with minimal, worn out tables and booths/chairs, plastic cutlery, and counter service only. But the food is wonderful! Hot, fresh, generous portions, and fast! And so inexpensive! I had a huge burrito for the same price as a 6” sub at Subway at about the same speed and so good!
I finally tried this Mexican restaurant last week, and let me just say—I was not disappointed! For the longest time, I thought it was closed, but it turns out they just close a little earlier than most places.

Native Texan here! I popped in on a lunch break. Friendly, clean, non greasy. I’ve traveled to nuevo progresso, Mexico several times over this past year, and the food here tasted like Mexico. Authentic Mexican, not Tex Mex. New lunch spot fav!
