It was my 1st time trying TX BBQ. It was AMAZING. The BBQ sauce is amazing as well!I have Celiacs, and I could eat so many of the items, INCLUDING dessert! The smoked pecan cobbler was absolutely delicious! 10/10 recommend!

5/5, we stopped in unexpectedly after visiting a park. It happened to be open around 2pm on a Sunday, so we stopped in for a to-go order. We got the brisket (so tender, so beefy and finally not too salty, perfect for saucing), pulled pork (absolutely perfect with their sauce, delicious), and smoked chicken (tender, juicy, peppery rub, delicious). We also had to try ALL the sides: the Mexican street corn was delicious, salty, and spicy, I'd like the corn to be a little sweeter but it was an easy 4/5; the smoked Mac and cheese was 8/5 Delicious and I think it had jalapeños in it but it wasn't spicy at all and it was surprisingly smokey; the jalapeño cole slaw was easily a 7/5 which is not easy to do for vole slaw, medium spicy and builds; the pinto beans were 4/5 Delicious not too salty, very peppery in the best way but you have to LOVE black pepper, which I do; the potato salad was cool and refreshing, slightly sweet and perfect with the other spicier sides. We also tried the smoked pecan cobbler and when I say RICH it is like 2 bites maximum RICH for me. You'll need to LOVE the smell of a campfire because that's what it takes like, absolutely delicious, I just need to share mine and maybe eat it on a biscuit. Highly recommend, everything is already made so it is fast service and super fast to pick up.

We were watching videos about Texas BBQ on YouTube and developed a strong desire to try some authentic Texas BBQ.This establishment was absolutely incredible! The flavors were extraordinary. The Mexican street corn was authentic and delectable!I highly recommend this place!
The meat was flavorful and moist, but not fatty. The sides were a bit spicier than what we were used to. The trickiest part was spotting the restaurant on the left side of the highway as we sped south.

My husband and I went here as part of my husband’s weekly biking/food adventures. We saw it on the map and thought it would be a great place to stop by after a long bike ride for some BBQ and beer. I was informed when we got there that they do not have beer yet, it’s currently BYOB. They are in the final stage of getting their alcohol license, however, I feel like maybe the BIG sign out front should be updated. Maybe the Beer part and wine should be hidden, considering they are by the highway and a lot of people can see it— it would be a disappointment to stop from your drive and knowing they don’t have it.Now starting with customer service because for me, it is a big deal. Well talk about southern hospitality! They were nice and polite! The food was amazing!!! It’s 10/10!!!I ordered “The Rookie” platter for $20. I think that was such a steal! I got their lean brisket and it was really good! I’m going to try the fatty brisket next time to see if it’s more moist. I also got two sides, Smoked Mac & Cheese. OMG. First time trying it and it was so good! It’s so creamy! I also got their Mexican Street Corn and let me tell you, I think this is the best street corn ever! It was well seasoned, it was perfect! This is the reason why I’m coming back for more! We also got the potato salad and it was also good. I think I may have to get a larger one for our Thanksgiving this year.My only qualms were:1. the BBQ sauce on the tables. I’m thinking if I got a bad batch because it was super tangy.. I don’t know if it went bad or something but we weren’t a fan of it.2. They also have outdoor seatings which was great because it was such a nice sunny day with some breeze and my husband had his bike. I just noticed that the tables were a little dirty. I spilled my drink on the tables and when wiped it, it was dirty. They have a pretty decent sized outdoor field, which I am wondering what their plans for? I would like to see it more lively, maybe some live music or something. I see a ton of potential with this spot! Granted, we will be coming back especially to try their desserts and when they finally have some beer.
