Billy Bob's Burgers

My mom was visiting and had a taste for a good hamburger. A friend suggested this place but we got there and it wasn't the same name. We decided to take a chance and I'm glad we did. The staff was great. Everyone behind the counter took their time with us and made sure we got what we wanted to order. The food was really good. Wish we ordered more onion rings because I had to share mine and I wanted more ?. If you're looking for a good burger, great staff and great atmosphere then this is your place. I will definitely go back soon. BTW there are tvs there to watch a game if you're there on a day they're played. I got the mushroom Swiss and my mom got the TX burger with A1 sauce on the side but she said it did taste good on her burger.

Parking: Parking is available but this restaurant is in an area with other businesses and to go orders are parked in front of the bldg so you have to walk across the parked cars to get to the door. My mom is elderly so that was a concern.

AWESOME is the word for this place. First visit to Billy Bob's and this place did not disappoint. Had burgers at other so called best in Killeen but this was the best by a long shot. I am from Oklahoma and we know burgers. This place, the service and atmosphere is the bomb. They're changing hands and with Cassidy's soon but still check the place out.

Solid burger place for a "classic" burger. Thin patty with a nice char. I couldn't see myself doing anything less than a double unless I'm having a bad day. And to touch on a previous I review, I could certainly tell that pepper is used to flavor the patty. But it wasn't overwhelming. Fries are pretty solid as well. I like that there are several options for add ons, including a fried egg. Good stuff!

Staff is super nice! These burgers are TREMENDOUS!! The fries and mozzarella sticks are delicious! Had the burger of the month BAR burger

Aight if you are seeking that local burger joint vibe this place got it. The burgers tend to be a little on the greasier side, tots are spot on, and not bad better than last visit.

I always try to get the regular cheeseburger the first time I visit anywhere. If you don't take have enough pride in your food to make a plain cheeseburger well, I don't want to try your specialty. Billy Bob's did not disappoint.This was my first time at Billy Bob's and I will be back. It reminded me of what Freddy's or Smashburger promise (but never deliver) only better. The patty has that crispy exterior while still being moist and delicious. Burger had just the right amount of toppings and condiments.One note on the sides. Don't get the large unless you haven't eaten in a week or have a small squad to help. There must have been 2 pounds of perfectly cooked tater tots in the bag.The menu is quite large though which always makes me wonder if the quality is consistent throughout. However, if the regular old cheeseburger is any indication, the specialties must be amazing. Overall, it's a great little burger joint and I will definitely be back to try out the specialties.

How difficult is it to get a 3 ingredient burger done correctly? We made it very clear that for my burger there was a food allergy to mustard. To make it simple I ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup and grilled onions ONLY! Nope came out with everything including mustard! The remake they STILL couldn’t get correct but at least this time they just left off an ingredient that we paid extra for (the grilled onions). The owner or manager needs to step up and pay closer attention because the cooking has seriously gone downhill! The remade burger was dried out (like a hockey puck) the bun was hard and seemed stale. I’m actually now on my way to McDonald’s to get something that doesn’t look like it was made 2 days ago. It’s really sad because we had been loyal customers for years but we are done. I’ll see about posting a photo of the burger after I get something decent to eat! Really sad commentary that a McDonald’s cheeseburger is more moist that the burger at Billy Bob’s. Oh and before writing and posting this review I did attempt to call and speak with the manager but as others have said in their reviews there was NO answer! I tried 3 different times and let it ring at least 20 times each call!

The burgers were way overcooked, bun was dried out. plus I was in the bathroom 3 times in the next hour. I realize they are understaffed so I can sympathize. I hope they can get it together. I like the idea and atmosphere, but the food needs work.

We waited in drive thru for 8 minutes no one came to window. Called also and no one answered the phone and can see people inside. One person seating in her car and seen us and still nothing. No sign saying they are closed or anything. Normally no issues with this restaurant.

Tbh, quite disappointed with the service compared to past visits. Tried to phone in order to save time. It rang but no one answered. When I told them, it was a shrug and a blase attitude. Took 40 minutes for my order to get done. Got mushroom burgers with barely any mushrooms. The "new" staff sucks. I presume the old staff who were awesome went to Waco. It's not what it used to be. Unimpressed.

The ladies that worked there were terrific. The onion rings were the bomb, so tasty! You got a good serving and they were small either. The burger was good, although I was hoping it would've been juicy. I'll definitely go back.

I loved it!! Food was great ? with a wide variety ?. Hard to find burgers that taste that good anymore. Reminds me of the ole mom and pop burger joints growing up as a kid. Staff was awesome. They made sure we were taken care off. They have days that 1st Responders, medical staff , and veterans/military are taken care of. So me and hubby are very thankful not just our tummies but from the bottom of our hearts. Thank y'all ?!!!

I enjoyed the best Philly Steak Sub I've had since I moved from New England, where they have the best. The Onion rings were fantastic. The service was fast and hot. I would recommend Billy Bob's to anybody. Also have a very well rounded menu and good prices.

The last three visit were disastrous. My burgers were well overcooked. My fries were also cold after waiting over 20 minutes and hardly any customers inside of the store or restaurant. The last visit I asked to have my fries hot and they cannot seem to comprehend that you cook a burger and then towards the end drop the fries. I received my order and walk to my car I noticed my fries were cold so I took my fries out of the bag and took them back inside and asked to have them remain. Once the waitress or waiter brought me my fries after almost 10 minutes he did not bother to put them in a bag with try to hand them to me in the container and open mini bag. I just think that the service level is horrible and it does not seem like the employees really care so I’m not gonna go back to that restaurant again!!!!! Unless they make it up to me in a big way because I was spending a lot of money at that place. These restaurants need to understand without customers they are nothing and they need to take more pride in the product that they produce! Well, we’ll see how things work out Siri

Ms. Tiffany is amazing had great customer service! Got our order correct on paper although back staff is running around and messed up my tots then complained they had to get rid of two wrong orders of tots when Tiffany had it right. Got the chicken sandwich it’s so juicy and their Arnold Palmer are so sweet… we’ll be back soon thanks just to see Ms. Tiffany.
