I have been to many locations and the chicken has always been wonderful and juicy. When to the Clear Creek rd location in Killeen Texas today and the food was terrible. The chicken was overcooked, rubbery and was very, very salty. The gravy was lumpy and salty. I have been to this location many times and this has never happened before. Perhaps a disgruntled employee is on the loose. I want my juicy fresh chicken back.

A young lady helped me today after I asked for the Hispanic manager and explained why I wanted him vs the other manager. She did the fries perfectly this time. Thank you so much! 1st 2 times back to Texas chicken was hard and no ranch. If I see this girl again she's getting a tip

Man! The food was so good I almost passed out at the table like it was Thanksgiving or something! This is one of my favorite places for fried chicken. The chicken is flavorful and somehow not greasy. My favorite is the chicken tender meals with fries and coleslaw. And just go ahead and get the gallon of sweet iced tea, trust me. ?

Ive been here several times and the staff is all very friendly and professional except for the manager who is slow, forgets your order, or just straight up messes it up. They also say that its happy hour all day all summer but ive been overcharged more than once.
Had gone to Bush’s for years but recently noticed their chicken sitting out it turns soggy and the portion for a family size is the same size for a single person for sides! It’s ridiculous. Bush’s should really compare their family portions to Chicken Express. Chicken Express is better for the quality and portion sizes for your buck, keep it up CE ?

Savon and Tenell need a lesson on how to behave in a professional setting. I was told to fish a meal out of the trash to get a refund. I was so taken aback by the rude response I hung up. I then called back because I would not be disrespected and not refunded. The offer was then changed and their excuse was because the call came in too late. Yet that wasn’t a problem just minutes ago when the refund was offered… they then said all they could do was give me another order. Why on earth would I want to order from you after being treated so rudely? So you can spit on the food and fry it up? Make it make sense. Now I have to have a heated argument about them being upset after they ruined my experience and have that I paid for. They need to grow up and act like they have the sense god gave them. If you see them, don’t tip.

Spent almost 20 + minutes waiting on rolls. The server told me a couple of minutes. When I finally got tired of waiting I got down to check on my food. The mgr was very rude and basically told me to wait. When I finally got my food the rolls were not cooked all the way(they were white), the tenders looked like small pieces of cold chicken, the rolls that were ready were burnt and the fries were half full. When I spoke with the server he talked over me so he wasn't listening to anything I was asking. I spent $48 plus tip for the horrible service and food I received. I will definitely be going higher. I have never experienced such disappointment. Waste of time and money.
