Food came half cold. Spam masubi was cold. Cleanliness of restaurant from kitchen to restroom is in question. Good Hawaiian no, fast Hawaiian yes.

Lunch at C&H Hawaiian Grill in Killeen today. I lived in Hawaii for some time and miss the aromas and flavors of island cuisine. When I walked in silly me expected to see Hawaiian decor and hear Hawaiian music playing softly in the background. So much for expectations. Not much to choose from on the restricted menu today. I was looking forward to some kind of pork plate but none was available. Since I can't eat seafood, the only choices were chicken or beef so I chose the beef teriyaki plate and subbed cabbage for rice or macaroni to keep it no-carb, plus ice tea. What a disappointment! The boiled cabbage had no flavor at all. The so-called teriyaki beef was tasteless and so tough my jaws are still tired from trying to chew it. I just gave up and spit it out. The ice tea was just colored water. Save your money and pass this one by.

Walk in and in about 10 minutes get our food (for dine in). The teriyaki chicken is made perfectly, I'm a stickler about white rice and it was sticky and tasted amazing. The macaroni just tasted like the mixed it around in mayo and put on your plate. Next time I come here I'm asking to leave it out. Other than that; Food: 9/10 Customer service: 9/10 Price: 9/10 -The pictures don't do justice, it was half eaten when I took it.

I ordered the Hawaiian Teriyaki Chicken plate. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce is excellent. This is clearly a mom and pop environment. The food and service were both awesome. The location is convenient to Fort hood and north Killeen.

Good experience, poke was very salty, & portions are really small. 1. Ordered online thru an app called UBMe. I assumed they would text me once my order was ready, they didn't. Thru the app they said they also do curbside delivery, which I tried as well. I informed them I was there, but didn't get a response. So I went down instead. I ended up waiting for 30-45 minutes long. 2. The lady with thin eyebrows was extremely rude. She didn't acknowledge anyone for pickup and when someone would inquire about their order she would talk over them or ignore them until she's finished with what she's doing. 3. The establishment was very unsanitary. It looks like they were renovating the place. Glad they do takeout but the smell of chemicals were too strong. 4. I'll probs come back tho, this is the only place where I can get an alright poke.

It seems to be popular as the only "Hawaiian" food option near the base. The Teriyaki chicken was decent, and my friend enjoyed the combo dish. Unfortunately the dishes that are crucial to authentic Hawaiian food seemed to be made with the least effort possible. The spam musubi had zero seasoning or flavor beyond the taste of spam. No grilling in sauce to caramelize the meat, no Furikake on the rice. Lazy. The macaroni salad was not Hawaiian style. You could get the same thing at any family picnic. This isn't a COVID thing. It's a recipe thing. If you've never had real Hawaiian it's probably satisfactory.

Chicken teriyaki tasted good, but, Ugh. I had to leave before meal was complete. Brisket was dense and rubbery, packed with 3/4 lb of rice. That's it. If they accompanied the meal with even a handful of vegetables, might not have been such a dense meal, that feels like a lead weight in your belly. On the other hand, the meal was served within a few minutes, but the girl at the counter was yelling out pickup numbers with an angrier voice than my old Drill Sergeant in Basic did...yikes!

Really??! Just really??! Now what in the entire hell is this??! Suppose to be Chicken Katsu. Came completely RAW! Lesson learned. Who plates a raw chicken on someone’s plate? don’t waste your time bc obviously they are too busy to fully cook your order

A sick friend asked me to pick up some food from this tiny "hole in the wall" that I had wished I knew existed when I first lived in Killeen. I love this kind of food! Anyway, I placed the order with a very sweet lady and explained the specifics of the order which included a request for extra sauces. I was given my order number and stepped to the side. Within a few minutes my number was called by a very loud lady. I was thrilled that it was so quick!!! When I asked if all the sauces were included the "loud" lady rolled her eyes and threw some other sauces in the bag; the sauces were all brown colored. I mentioned that my friend requested siracha as well. The "loud" lady practically had steam coming out of here ears at this point. I saw her frustration and explained that I had never ordered from here before. She states, "Here is a container. You get the sauce near the ketchup area." Once again, she rolled her eyes as she threw the empty sauce container into the bag. The young employee next to her must have seen the look of disgust on my face because she couldn't have said "Thank you. Please come again and enjoy the rest of your day" enough times. Sadly, I responded to the sweet lady, "I will enjoy my day when I get out of here." I don't care how good food is...if I am treated poorly, I will NEVER visit or recommend an establishment to ANYONE. Sorry...food smelled great!

I was born and raised in Hawaii, so I have standards for what "Hawaiian" food should be. For one, the Mac salad here doesn't even compare to what they got back home, here it's always gross and tastes old. Secondly, they're stingy on the portions. If you went to Hawaii and went to any plate lunch spot, like L&L cause they're the cheapest, they give you more than you can handle for $8. The hamburger steak plate I had today was sad, flavor was good on the meat itself but not enough rice. Personally, It didn't justify the price. The curry here is Ok but just tastes off. I also had the musubi which had no sauce and was barely cooked. Overall, If you've never been to Hawaii and this food was disappointing to you, don't think the plate lunches in Hawaii is like this. Overpriced for what you get, and if you're from Hawaii and miss the food there, it's Texas. Don't expect much. Not trynna put on other places but if you need your fix, Hawaiian bros out in Austin and L&L in Waco is better.

Today must have been an off day. I placed my order to come to my business and it went to my house. The food was still hot but I ordered extra brisket and here is what I got and it is all fat. I was so hungry and well ??

Pork Ribs Plate - I place an order to be dine in with 5 of my co-workers. Wasn't able to enjoyed my meal there. The table that we sat at was sticky and so was the floors. Not only that with all the flies that was flying around I was scare to take the lid off my meal and when I went to pick-up my meal at the counter I ask for someone to come and wipe the table off. But of course no one came. I guess for some it doesn't matter the condition of the place that they eat in, but to me it does. There is no way that you have to be fanning flies away while you eat not unless you are outside at a BBQ.

Being from Hawaii I always make a point to stop by C&H if I'm ever in Killeen. I had to stop by recently before my son's football game and picked up dinner. Everything I've had is very authentic Hawaiian from the Kalua Pig, Lau Lau, Macaroni Salad, etc. I definitely recommend!

Great food. I enjoyed my very first time with a friend here recently. So much so, I brought my husband to try it for my second time.. and the interaction could have been better. Good food is hard to enjoy if employees treat you as if you are an inconvenience for simply asking a question..Customers will remember the Entrance, and Exit.Perhaps it was a bad day for the lady. We will certainly give them another try in the future. Our only critique would be to at least be nice to your new customers who are not familiar with the process.
