I ordered on Ubereats because I didn’t feel like leaving my dorm room but once Ubereats canceled my order, I called the business to see what happened. A guy answered the phone and explained to me that he’d started making my order already and because I didn’t want this business to take a loss, I drove there. LET ME TELL YOU!!! This food was a 2000/10 and if you don’t believe me go try it for yourself. I don’t even like hush puppies but theirs was so good, unfortunately they were out of shrimp but tomorrow I’m trying for sure??Fries (RIGHT AMOUNT OF CRUNCH)Hush puppies (Not to sweet & perfectly cooked)Catfish nuggets (ONLY SOME, were a tad salty)Fish Fillets (perfectly seasoned, cooked, AND DELICIOUS!!!)I got to meet one of the owners and she was really nice, she also gave me some flyers that I will be giving to people personally who I believe are actually going to try the food. The guy that I talked to over the phone was really courteous and friendly as well, that’s what made me get up and show my support! Also if y’all are reading this, IM COMING BACK!!!This place really gave some of my favorite spots in Houston a run for its money. I have to say that I am enjoying my college experience in Killeen and I have to say that among the many restaurants in this small area, I am finding some Gems.Ima show y’all during & what’s left of my order. First and last time eating at Catfish Box. Came here based on the good reviews, I was mistaken. The lady felt the need to correct the way I said Tartar. The catfish taste like dirt. The Kool-Aid drink they give you had no sugar in it. We got the red and blue. The huge box the food comes in is an illusion, when we opened It there was hardly any fries. Me and my husband got the large box. Total 43$ way overpriced. We were the only people there when we ordered and the wait was for almost an hour. If The Catch was still here, or Sam’s Eatery, that’s where we would be. Still looking for a good catfish restaurant in Killeen.

If a customer asks about how long, you DON'T say "I don't know" as a response, especially rudely. Even if you don't know, you can give a MINIMUM. Or even a guess. Heck just say "I got _ orders ahead of yours." Not good customer service. Like zero orders coming out. You do know you can cook more than one at a time right?!? Won't be back. And no it's not the best catfish in town.

This food truck is not in the same place with all the others. It's across the street past Golden Chick. It's on Google Maps.Now...about the food. CRISPY FRIES!!!!! Crispy fries are getting harder to find. These were crispy without being burnt. Just the right amount of salt. The fish was tender and flavorful. Hushpuppies were the best I've had. Shrimp was cooked perfectly...fried, not dried. No rubber texture. I had the $10 box and it was plenty to fill me up. Ended up sharing with my dog. He loved it, too. We'll be back.

As soon as I took a bite of that shrimp I had to pull over before I had a wreck from the taste it gave me. I called them back just joking around only to find out the owner's from back home where I'm from which is why the taste hit me like I was home.Very good and very satisfied with the food and service.I highly recommend their service.

Well this review is not going to be good homie... you use to give filets now you give these lil nuggets and say 'it feeds 2' that's a big tall lie. Only 2 hush puppies, and enuff fries for one person especially if the 2 persons are 'real' adults, and the nuggets are very small. If I had not prepaid I would have requested a refund. So long farewell to you!¡ The taste is still delishous but the portion is NOT!¡

Went to Catfish Box for the first time today and I must say that I am VERY impressed. The fish was on point, the shrimp was amazing, and the grits tasted like the ones my grandmother use to make. That's saying a lot because I'm from Louisiana and grandma threw down in the kitchen. I have to say that I will be going back. I think I found a new favorite food truck!!! I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking for good food and great customer service.
