This midwestern gal loves a good BPT but they are few and far between here in Central Texas. Checkpoint Germany food truck was at Rentsch Brewery in Georgetown, Tx for Oktoberfest so I decided to try their schnitzel plate. It looked like a breaded pork tenderloin so I took it home and turned it into a sandwich.It was da bomb.Good breading, not greasy, just the right thickness and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes tasted like my Oma's.Highly recommend. And recommend this be sold as a sandwich called the BPT schnitzel. It will attract and satisfy the plethora of Hoosiers and Hawkeyes longing for a taste of home.

The service was awesome. The young man who was working in this heat (heat index is 108°) and still had such a fantastic attitude was refreshing to see.The Jägerschnitzel & Pommes frites were delicious. I will most certainly be returning.

If you are craving German food, this is it! My husband used to live in Europe so we are always on the lookout for some authentic eats. FAVORITE thing: Jaeger Schnitzel (porkcutlet with mushroom gravy) & rosemary potatoeswith cucumber salad on the side.Interesting fact: the food truck is run by a retiredmilitary couple and any homeless vet can alwaysget a free meal with them

Had the Bratwursts with kraut and hot mustard at Barrow Brewing in Salado last night and OMG it was excellent!! Will be back to try more of the menu items asap!

We go to brewery only when you are there because the beer is good but your food is Great! Always get the Jaeger Schnitzel. Always so fresh and hot. If you love real German food this is the real deal. Owners super friendly and nice. Veteran owned and operated.

I am always excited when I see that Check Point is coming to Rentsch brewery. We've visited for Oktoberfest for the past two years and food at Check Point is fantastic. The curry wurst is probably one of my favorite foods of all time. Everything we've ordered is delicious and I look forward many more visits in the future.

We got to try this wonderful food when they were at an event in Salado! It was delicious and made fresh to order. The couple are super friendly and fun to talk to! We ordered the Doner Wrap with Feta. It was omjesus super mouthwatering, flavorful and we ended up ordering more. The sauce they use is super good. I literally made sure I licked it all up, lol. The meat was just as good too! There is nothing negative I can say about the Doner Wrap! You also know it's good when your munchkins love the flavor and steal your Doner Wrap! The other item we ordered was the potato salad. It was definitely different and not the normal salad. I really enjoyed the vinegrett flavor that I was getting from it. I'd definitely order it again! We also ordered a bratwurst for the munchkins. We kept it basic with nothing on it but ketchup since we weren't sure if they like the full works they could have had. But even with just it being plain the bratwurst was actually really good. I definitely will be back to try one of their bratwurst in brötchen.

Booked them for an event over a month in advance. They double booked that day after confirming with me and send over their logo. Posters were made and online advertising was paid for. It wasn’t till I saw the other booking on social media that I was made aware that they had canceled on my event. They lack professionalism and honesty. I wouldn’t do business with them unless you have a backup plan.

They sent me their logo August 23 and the posters and online advertising started August 25th. They lack professionalism and honesty. Do not trust them to honor bookings. If you can’t trust that, can you really trust their food?

We hired Checkpoint Germany for a private event (our Oktoberfest 2021) and were blown away by the amazing food and pride in quality and service that Andrea and Tim have. They are a wonderful team and were doing everything to make our guests and us happy. The Schnitzel are so delicious. Had Curry Wurst until later that night to munch on :-) Salads are great, too. Everything is very authentic German. Thank you Andrea and Tim for a night to remember !!! We appreciate y'all!
