“Ok guys. Please keep in mind that most positive experiences, people don't leave reviews for. Secondly, just don't order the fries. Yes they do charge too much for how much you get. However when you get the two sandwiche deal on Door Dash for like $20 bucks, totally worth it!
I will say that on my first experience, my sandwich was a little soggy and I didn't receive the bell peppers, onions and mushrooms that I paid for. Everyone else liked theirs. I got a traditional one and my daughter got some Chipotle one. Can I just thought it was good / okay.
Lucky for them and for me, it was late and I really wanted a cheesesteak and they were the only ones open. I reordered the exact same thing and this time it came amazing! More meat than I thought was needed. Plenty of cheese even though I added extra cheese and didn't end up needing it lol. And the bell peppers, onions and mushrooms were on there. So I just thought, they had a bad night or it got switched up or the DoorDasher had to stop somewhere else so it got soggy. I mean what do you expect from a sandwich that's being delivered? It's a wet sandwich.
I suppose the owner could look at some feedback here and maybe offer the toasted bun on the side and put the filling inside of that container they put the fries in. Then just dump it in your hoagie when you get home.
Now I ordered them a third time a few days ago. Again, yes a little soggy but again it's door dashed so that's just how it is. They wrap it in what they can to prevent sogginess. At least it's not in some styrofoam or plastic making it super soggy. But oh my God once again, and even better this time, it was orgasmic in my mouth. Once again, more meat than was even needed.
So yes it can be a LITTLE hit or miss, possibly. Again I've only eaten there three times now. I've always been a firm believer that you should bring up the issue to the place of business prior to leaving a one-star to see if they are willing to make it right. Everybody is human and everybody makes mistakes. Be the customer that you'd want to be if you were the business owner.
Also I'm big on supporting small businesses and so it's good to call and give feedback and suggestions, kindly, so that we can see them succeed.
And no I'm not associated with this place. I used to own a restaurant back in Oregon and I know what it's like to own a restaurant. So I get what he's going through.
Again, is anybody else able to make a wet sloppy sandwich delivered 30 minutes away and it not be a little soggy? Because if you don't want it soggy, go eat there or make it yourself. To go is just to go. Five Star restaurants don't even allow you to take food to go because the quality degrades so much. Keep that in mind when you consider how you're getting it.
I was really disappointed and surprised at the reviews when I decided to come in here to leave my first review after having it three times. I'm actually about to order it again tonight. I'll let you know if for any reason it's not up to par.“
